I recently traveled to India and bought a data package to make sure I could work effectively while on the road. This turned out to be an excellent decision: the hotel internet was often patchy and very slow, but the GlobLinker unit connected quickly and reliably, even in remote locations, on trains, and on our tour bus as we crossed the country. It made a noticeable difference to my ability to keep up with work during the trip.

One fellow traveler was using a different mobile hotspot and was finding it extremely expensive. When I told him about GlobLinker, he was very impressed and said he planned to buy one when he got home.

Overall, I’m very happy with the device and would recommend it to anyone who travels frequently and needs dependable internet for work or personal use.

My experience with Globlinker has been excellent. The signal is strong (even outside the Continental US), TV reception has been quite clear, accessing the internet has been easy, etc. But, most important, the customer service group has been very responsive, helpful, and professional.

Does exactly as it says, but reliably. The customer service team is quick and clear with their communication. I am very happy with my purchase, it has replaced my in-car wifi forever with the cost of a year service only. I was skeptical, and waited to write this review so I knew I was giving potential customers good information.

The Globlinker device works as advertised, with the 10 gigs of introductory data, as well as the 2 gigabytes per month of lifetime data. Their support team is also very responsive and friendly.

Initially, I saw the ad for 2Gb/month/life was too good to be true. After spending almost $600 on Srarlink and not being willing to give even more money to the richest man on earth, I decided to take a risk and try Globlinker mobile hotspot. I'm so glad I did! I was at a campsite where I was receiving no data on my smartphone. I brought this Globlinker hotspot with me on the trip just in case. I don't recall exactly how long it took the device to figure out how to get a signal, but I believe it was less than 30 minutes from the time I was able to turn the device on. I was able to get online with acceptable speeds when my smaetphone couldn't, even though I have my mobile plan with a leading provider. Globlinker allowed me the convenience of not having to set up and pay for Starlink- and since I don't need to use it very often, the free 2Gb/month is enough for me. Reaching out to support to get the data started took a reasonable amount of time and I was able to figure out after a few emails with support, although this was slightly nerve-wracking initially. I'm very pleased with the end result of using this product which was ultimately able to pick up internet from sources that my p cell hone was missing.

I bought a Globlinker device while it was on sale and was initially skeptical about whether it would actually work as advertised. After activating the device in the U.S., I connected my devices and was able to browse the internet without any issues.

Before my trip to Germany, I emailed their support team with my travel dates so they could activate the service for that region. As soon as I landed in Germany, I connected to the Globlinker Wi-Fi and, voilà, I was online immediately. I was able to access the internet and make calls using Wi-Fi Calling with no problems at all.

I have since used it during trips to South Korea and Vietnam, and it worked flawlessly in both countries. Their customer service is outstanding—they answered all of my questions promptly and professionally.

I highly recommend Globlinker to anyone who is still on the fence about purchasing one. Based on my experience, it delivers exactly what it promises.

One more thing worth mentioning: they add 2GB of data to your account every month. If you don’t use it, the data rolls over and continues to accumulate until you need it. That’s a great feature for occasional travelers like me.

This is the best solution to my ongoing connectivity issues with my ISP. There’s been a few times Globlinker saved the day when I couldn’t connect to my local internet.

They have free 2GB/mo for life and you already get your money back after a few months of use.

I’ve used it during my international travel and it works so well! There were a few hiccups but customer service was able to fix that within a few hours. Customer service is quick and resolves the issue right away. They respond within the day and in my experience within 2 hours.

The device itself is a bit dated. Like the screen quality isn’t LED so sometimes it can be difficult to read. For the price you’re paying for and the freebie, I guess it’s worth its price. I would love to see them upgrade the device later down the road to reflect the quality of their service. Battery wise, it was able to stay on for a 4-5 hours before needing to be charged. If it’s enclosed, it can get real hot so leave it in an open space or give it some breathing room.

From what I know it has a lifetime warranty, so if it ever breaks or the battery gives out, I do hope they’ll replace it at no cost. But for now, I’ve really been happy with this purchase.

We needed a device to send data from an electrical system to our monitoring systems and have previously used a 4g mobile hub and then constantly had to search for data sims and go out to the site to replace them.

This device is perfect for our needs with no worry on local service providers and the 2gb free monthly data is perfectly adequate for our needs.

Got this via amazon and it has been amazing. Very reliable in internet coonection even while travelling long distances in car, no dropped service, just straight continous signal. Plus you get 2gb a month with rollover, can't ask for anything more. Buy it now

Super responsive customer support.
The hotspot itself worked out of the box during my first use in Japan. Speed is not the fastest I've seen since it is LTE-4G only, but good enough for maps, navigation, looking for restaurants, and points of interest. Speed test in Japan shows around 30Mbps download. Perfect travel companion.

Works perfect. Excelent customer service. The 2gb has to be activated since there are two options. So far it is great. Bought another one for the boat.

It arrived today and what initially struck me was the size; I expected something the size of a 'phone but it's a neat little unit about 50% bigger than a credit card although obviously much thicker.
I contacted Customer Service a few times and Maria was excellent, she answered all of my questions with brevity and clarity and patiently guided this 74 year old. As I always have several foreign holidays a year I'm looking forward to using it soon.
