Privacy Policy

ScrapeGPT Inc operates the mrscraper.com website, which provides the SERVICE.

This page informs users about the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information through our Service: the MrScraper website, account dashboard, APIs, and integrations with connected applications and AI assistants, including Model Context Protocol (MCP) connections.

If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation with this policy. The Personal Information that we collect are used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, which is accessible at mrscraper.com, unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.

Information Collection and Use

For a better experience while using our Service, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to your name and email. We only ask for the essential information we need to operate.

We also process account verification, subscription, and token-usage information to authenticate connections and report usage. For web-data requests, we process URLs, search queries, extraction instructions, output schemas, request settings, saved scraper/result identifiers and filters, and retrieved content, including HTML and extracted records. These may contain personal information. We use this information to perform the requested fetching, search, extraction, saved-scraper reruns, and result retrieval. Account-information requests can return account identity and usage information to the connected application.

Managed AI extraction sends page content and your extraction instructions to a backend language-model service and saves a reusable scraper configuration; reruns create new stored results. Page retrieval can return content without managed AI extraction. The requesting application may process returned content using its own AI services, subject to its own privacy terms and settings.

Our MCP interfaces do not request your full conversation history. Conversation text included by a connected application in an extraction prompt or another request input is part of the information we process.

Log Data

We want to inform you that whenever you visit our website, we collect information that your browser sends to us that is called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol ("IP") address, browser version, pages of our website that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, and other statistics.

For service operations, we process the account, requested domain, operation, time, and request outcome to calculate usage, troubleshoot errors, and improve our platform. We do not use this service-operation information for advertising. Information you send to support is used to handle your request.

Cookies

Cookies are files with small amount of data that is commonly used an anonymous unique identifier. These are sent to your browser from the website that you visit and are stored on your computer’s hard drive.

Our website uses necessary cookies and loads optional support, analytics, and marketing technologies only after you make an active choice in the cookie banner. You can change or withdraw your choices through Cookie settings in the footer. The Cookie Policy describes these technologies and the consent preference retained for up to 180 days. That period applies only to the consent preference, not scraped content, account records, or logs.

Service Providers

We may employ third-party companies and individuals due to the following reasons:

To facilitate our Service; To provide the Service on our behalf; To perform Service-related services; or To assist us in analyzing how our Service is used. We want to inform our Service users that these third parties have access to your Personal Information. The reason is to perform the tasks assigned to them on our behalf. However, they are obligated not to disclose or use the information for any other purpose.

Destination websites receive the information needed to process requests, and search operations send the query and applicable settings through the search workflow. Results are returned to the connected application that requested them. These websites and applications have their own terms and privacy practices, separate from ours.

Storage, Retention, and Your Choices

MrScraper stores saved scraper configurations and results, which can include HTML, so you can retrieve and reuse them. You can manage them through the account dashboard. Retention and permanent-deletion workflows are supported on request through our support team at support@mrscraper.com, rather than through the dashboard. Removing an item from the dashboard does not confirm permanent erasure of underlying copies or backups.

You control the URLs, queries, extraction fields, and limits you submit. For OAuth connections, approved permissions determine access; you can revoke a connection through Connected applications in your account. Revocation prevents further refresh-token use, but an issued access token can remain valid until it expires. Disconnecting an application or cancelling a subscription does not delete stored results or copies already returned to another service. Use that service's own controls for copies it holds.

For access, correction, or deletion requests concerning your personal information, or assistance deleting your account, contact support@mrscraper.com. We may need to verify that the request relates to your account. Do not send passwords, API keys, or authentication codes.

Where the Data Protection Policy applies, it sets out our contractual processing, return/deletion, and data-subject-request obligations. Those obligations are separate from the currently available dashboard controls.

Security

We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
