Introduction
Welcome to MPAT. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information.
Our Commitment: We are committed to transparency and protecting your privacy. This policy outlines our practices regarding your personal information.
Information We Collect
Personal Information
We collect the following personal information when you use our service:
- Name and email address when you create an account
- Profile information you choose to provide
- The details of any tool you submit for review
- Comments you post on blog articles
- The name, email address and message you send through the contact form
- Your email address, if you subscribe to the newsletter
Payments: Submitting a tool is free, and the site takes no payment for it. Listing payments made before 13 October 2026 were taken by Razorpay: card details went to Razorpay and never reached our servers, and what we store against such a submission is the payment reference and whether it succeeded.
Usage Information
We automatically collect certain information about your usage:
- Pages you visit on this site
- Reviews you open — each review keeps a view count
- Search queries typed into the site search
- Device and browser information
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Run the site and keep its reviews current
- Reply to your message, or contact you about a tool you submitted
- Keep the record of a payment made before paid plans were withdrawn
- Moderate blog comments and tool submissions
- Analyze usage patterns to decide what to work on next
- Prevent fraud and abuse
Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
Security Measures: The site is served over HTTPS. Accounts and their credentials are handled by our authentication provider, and card details are handled by our payment provider — neither is stored on our own servers.
Third-Party Services
The site runs on third-party providers for hosting, authentication, analytics and payments. Each has its own privacy policy, and each receives only what it needs to do its part — an analytics provider never receives a payment record, and the payment provider never receives your browsing history.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to processing of your data
- Export your data
Exercise Your Rights: To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the information provided in the Contact Us section.
Children's Privacy
Our service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Important: If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy on this page.
Stay Informed: We recommend reviewing this policy periodically to stay informed about how we protect your information.
