Wake is a desktop app for developers who need to find past coding-agent conversations across tools. It gathers session histories into a library organized by project and agent.

  • Cross-agent search: Search sessions from Claude Code, Codex CLI, Cursor, OpenCode, Gemini CLI and other supported agents, including code fragments and Chinese, Japanese and Korean text, then jump to a matching message.
  • Transcript reading: View inline images, highlighted code, thinking summaries and collapsible tool calls within a conversation.
  • Session resumption: Reopen supported sessions in a terminal at their original project directory.
  • Agent access: Let Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another MCP client search and read earlier conversations through the bundled read-only MCP server. A command-line tool gives shell-based agents access to the same history.
  • Library organization: Star or pin sessions, export them to Markdown, and compare activity and recorded usage by agent, project or model.

Wake runs locally on macOS, with experimental Linux and Windows support. It's open source under the MIT license. Local browsing and search work offline; Wake keeps its index on your computer and reads agent histories without writing to their files or accessing credential files. Optional SSH mirroring copies sessions from other machines into the local library without writing to those hosts. Apart from configured SSH transfers, Wake contacts GitHub only when you request an update check.
