OpenClaw
A self-hosted AI assistant that connects to messaging apps, supports local and hosted models, and keeps memory on your hardware.

OpenClaw is an AI assistant you run on your own computer for personal tasks or shared team use. It connects to existing messaging services, so you can reach the assistant through the apps you already use.
- Messaging connections: Talk to the assistant through WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, Slack, Teams, Signal or iMessage.
- Model choice: Use local models or hosted providers, with swappable plugins for models and agent backends including Claude and Codex.
- Tools and device access: Extend tasks with tools, skills and plugins; companion apps add voice, camera, screen access and actions on supported devices.
OpenClaw runs on macOS, Windows and Linux, with native apps also available for iOS and Android. It's open source under the MIT license and has no hosted service.
State, memory and credentials stay on your hardware. Prompts go to your chosen model provider and chat platforms, plus any diagnostics export you enable. Update checks run by default, while anonymous feature statistics are opt-in.
Main-session tools run on the host unless you configure sandboxing. DM-capable channels pair unknown senders by default.
