FAQ

How does a Grand Prix work?

Every Monday at 00:00 UTC a new grid of 32 products lines up. For a week, signed-in people vote; votes set the running order on the timing tower. At the chequered flag the top 10 score 25, 18, 15, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2, 1 points.

Is it free?

Yes. 20 of the 32 seats are free. Put the LaunchGP badge on your site, vote for a car in a Grand Prix, and your product takes the next open seat. Each product gets 1 free Grand Prix per season.

What do the paid slots get me?

The front of the grid: P1 to P6, the week you choose, no queue and no badge. They start at the front of the track and the tower. They never get votes, points or a better finish: money buys visibility, never position.

Do I get a backlink?

Every free car gets a dofollow link during its race week. The top 3 of every Grand Prix keep a permanent dofollow link, and so do the top 10 of each Endurance class. Paid placements use rel="sponsored".

What is LaunchGP Endurance?

The race that never ends. After its Grand Prix, every product joins it with its points as distance, then keeps covering ground every day from real traffic and votes. Shipping updates keeps the car fueled.

How are votes kept fair?

Only signed-in accounts vote, once per car per round. Votes from accounts under 24 hours old count only once the account is a day old, one network counts once per car, makers can't vote for themselves, and vote swaps between makers on the same grid stop counting.
