I don’t know where to start!
More magical floating leaves, dogs, dogs and more dogs, potato chips (I think?) in the shape of bats and ghosts, yummy cooking and misty mornings – I love these glimpses into your life, Kelly!
What are those vibrant purple berries or buds? The colour against the green is so bright and beautiful.
I’ve heard of American Beautyberry, but I don’t guess I’ve ever seen one — it really lives up to its name! I like the photo of the black dog with tiny leaf bits upon its head. The Monk regularly attracts mulched leaves — particularly on his “skirts” — and keeps me bending over to scoop leaf bits from the floor and carpet. I guess he thinks I don’t have enough to do, ha!
Those little things are called “beggar lice” and I’ve been entertained by them since I was a kid. It always amuses me to see them stuck to one of the dogs (or me!). Poor Monkey… he can’t help it!
What. no bugs? Though that strange plant thing looks very triffidy, and the fungus is probably thinking evil thoughts! The dogs are gorgeous though. Are those berries really that colour? What are they?
Kelly, As always your new Instagram pictures are all varied, interesting and amazing. But my favourites are: the three pictures of Fred and Grady, the spooky chips, the striking purple berries, the glass from Grounds & Hounds featuring various dogs and your pond. Raven
I still have a few bags of the Halloween chips and they are such fun to eat! Fred and Grady have been in a lot of my photos lately. You’ll see them again next month, I’m sure.
These are great! I’m curious about the tea..my husband likes matcha, but I don’t know this brand. Your pups look like they are asking you if they can take off for a hunt or a look see.

The spooky snacks are veggie chips. They usually come in “straw” form.
The berries are from a tree commonly known as American Beautyberry or French Mulberry. They’re always so vibrant!

So he says. But I’ve watched him race through the cut-up leaves (probably feels as good to him as shuffling through crunchy leaves do to us!).

I bet there’s a bug somewhere in that spiderweb if you look closely enough. 😉
The berries really are that vivid color! It’s something commonly called American Beautyberry or sometimes French Mulberry.

I like that glass, too, and use it when I drink iced coffee, chai, or matcha. I especially like the dog at the top who looks like a Rottweiler. 🙂

Thanks! The berries are on what folks either call an American Beautyberry or a French Mulberry. I think they’re beautiful.

Aww, the crisps are so funny. I like the purple berries too. The dogs are lovely. All the pictures are wonderful.

We have a similar berry here, but it’s not quite as large as the beautyberry. I’m not sure what it’s called.
What’s the white flower in the photo fifth from the bottom? The one with the curly tip? Any idea?
I love the Grounds & Hounds glass! It wouldn’t work for me, though, because I always drink my coffee hot.

My research (which might be iffy) tells me it’s an “Indian heliotrope”. It grows wild here and that one was in the middle of the dirt road.
I’ve gotten quite fond of iced coffee, chai, and matcha! I still drink my morning mug (or two) hot.

It’s an online coffee company that benefits rescue dogs. They’re kinda pricy, but it’s for a good cause and their products are great.

Lots of great photos there, but as usual, the ones including the dogs were my favorites. Plus the purple (???) berries.
