JZMaths is owned and operated by Joe Zhou, a UK-based sole trader. By using this site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. What JZMaths Is

• A website to help students prepare for the TMUA
• Features include a timed exam simulator, past paper downloads, and progress tracking
• Everything we have previously made publicly available for free will remain free. We also offer optional paid exam bundles and standalone live mocks, with prices and access periods stated on their purchase pages

2. Account Rules

• You must be at least 13 years old
• You must provide accurate information, including a real first name and last name
• Only one account per person
• Keep your password secure; do not share your login
• You are responsible for everything done under your account

3. Acceptable Use

You must not:

• Scrape, copy, or redistribute the site's content in bulk
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or circumvent the site's security
• Impersonate another person
• Use the site for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer the exam simulator or extract answer keys

4. Intellectual Property

• The software, design, branding and original materials on JZMaths belong to Joe Zhou or their respective owners. Materials by Jackie Tyler and other contributors are used with permission
• You are granted a personal, non-commercial licence to use the site for your own TMUA preparation
• Past papers are the intellectual property of Cambridge Assessment Admissions Testing; they are made available here under fair dealing for non-commercial educational use
• You may not reproduce or adapt any material for commercial purposes without written permission

5. Buying the PLUS beta bundle

This section applies to the £30 PLUS beta bundle. Standalone live-mock purchases have separate purchase terms, available on their purchase pages (purchase terms: Tyler Exam Set B — live mock and access).

• What you are buying. Access through your JZMaths account to eight TMUA papers — two in each of four exam sets: JZ Exam Set C, JZ Exam Set D, Tyler Exam Set A and Tyler Exam Set B — and a place in the Tyler Exam Set B live mock on 3 October 2026. Tyler Exam Set B and its live mock are included at no extra charge for existing and new bundle holders. Papers are accessed through the exam simulator; PDF downloads are not included.
• Price. A single payment of £30. It is not a subscription: nothing renews and nothing is charged again.
• When access ends. Bundle access and free PLUS beta membership end on 8 January 2027 at 11:59 pm GMT, regardless of when you purchase. Standalone purchases may have different expiry dates, as stated on their purchase pages.
• Payment. Payments are taken by Stripe. We never receive or store your card details. Stripe emails a receipt to the address entered at payment.
• Whose account. The bundle is added to the JZMaths account that was signed in when the payment started. A parent, guardian or anyone else may pay; the access still belongs to that account. If you are under 18, please buy only with the permission of a parent or guardian.
• Released in stages. JZ Exam Set C and Tyler Exam Set A are available now. JZ Exam Set D will be released by 30 September 2026. Tyler Exam Set B is released first through its live mock on 3 October 2026, then in the simulator. These are the latest expected dates; a set may arrive sooner.
• Immediate supply, and your right to cancel. The bundle's exam papers are digital content. Papers already released become available in your account as soon as your payment is confirmed. Before paying, you are asked to tick a box requesting that the bundle be made available to you immediately and acknowledging that, once content has been supplied to you, you lose your right to cancel it under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. Where you have given that express request and acknowledgement, your right to cancel is lost when supply begins — when the papers are made available in your account — not when you tick the box. We record the wording you agreed to and when. This does not affect your rights if content is faulty, not as described or not supplied, and it does not by itself remove any right you may have in relation to the separately scheduled Tyler Exam Set B live mock. If you would prefer to keep your cancellation period, do not tick the box and do not buy — email us instead.
• Asking to cancel or for a refund. To request a cancellation or refund, please email jzmaths@hotmail.com with the email address associated with your JZMaths account and details of your request. We review requests individually and process any refunds due manually. This process does not affect your statutory rights.
• If something is wrong. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights where the content is faulty, not as described, or not supplied. If you cannot access what you paid for, email us and we will put it right or refund you.
• What a refund means for your access. If your bundle purchase is cancelled and refunded in full, your bundle access will end. You will remain a PLUS beta member and retain access to the free sets, and your scores and history will be preserved. If a partial refund is issued, we will explain any corresponding changes to your access.
• No redistribution. The bundle papers are licensed to you personally for your own preparation, under section 4. Sharing or redistributing them may end your access to the bundle.
• Free school meals. If you are eligible for free school meals you can have the bundle free — see the free access page. You should not pay.

6. Feedback

If you send us feedback or feature requests, we may use them to improve the service with no obligation or compensation.

7. Disclaimers

The site is provided "as is". We do not guarantee:

• That you will pass or achieve any particular score in the TMUA
• That the site will always be available or error-free
• That the content is free of mistakes (we will fix them when notified)
• That the site is a substitute for professional tuition

Your exam results depend on many factors outside our control.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site, including missed offers, lost study time, or poor exam results
• Our total direct liability is limited to £10, or, if you have paid us, the amount you have paid in the twelve months before the claim, whichever is greater

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

9. Termination

• We may suspend or terminate your access if you break these terms
• You may delete your account at any time by emailing jzmaths@hotmail.com

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be signposted on the site. The Effective Date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent change. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.

Changes to these terms will not retrospectively reduce the content, access period or rights agreed for an existing purchase.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales, which have exclusive jurisdiction.
