I 100% will keep this in mind for a future project, just a question though, does each style support taking in a texture for the color channel? Does it look ok or wonky with a texture?

You just got lucky! The seed is randomized (and the door spawns are weighted against the player). 

Unless Godot's randomize function in 4.4 was not working properly, then oops.
