Just finished it. Rabbit is free and became my friend. I managed to cheese the game a little bit. I landed on spikes, reduced my velocity and pressed R. My velocity didn't return to normal and I was moving slower and dragged the box slower. Maybe it's not velocity, maybe it's time that didn't return to normal.

1. Overall the character feels too floaty, like in the water. In Unity, if I want to use RB for a good jump, I mess with linear drag. I create a drag change within n(0.15) seconds from start drag 10 to end drag 1 through curve. And I set gravity and impulse high. It makes a very cartoonish snappy jump. But for platformers they generally make custom physics.

2. It's hard to control the crate, it doesn't stop when I don't move my mouse, maybe there should be an invisible zone on the mouse position where the crate doesn't continue getting force so it can stop better.

3. I like the idea. Maybe I would love it more if I get different mechanics with my telekinesis ability instead of draging the crate over and over again over very long levels. Felt like a chore.

4. I would work with text a bit differently, didn't like that it just stays in space and doesn't disappear, floods the picture overall. I like crate reactions though.

5. Physics is hard, I make a game with physics at the moment and there are a lot of workarounds that I have to use so it doesn't break the game.

Your game is my favourite this jam. Could be better than "12 minutes" on steam.

Thank you. I checked your game. Honestly I don't undertand how it's possible to do so much stuff in just 7 days. I feel lazy in comparison.

I've played every submitted game from this game Jam. Here are 3 games that left a mark on my mind. Yes, there were other good games, but this is my personal choice.

1. LOCKED IN a LOOP in a LOCKED ROOM - ALL 5s from me. It's a very simple idea done right. Gave me "12 minutes" game vibe. I think that if you can polish this game, add more content, you can easily do an outstanding commercial game. I wish to see more from you.

2. HOXO - Almost all 5s. Need more puzzles. Very clever, would deffinately play a full version of the game. Good job.

3. The Loop - Not a perfect game. But I really vibed with it. Reminded me of Pony Island. I can see this person become a strong voice in the industry in the future.

Yeah, I did, from the boss. I was talking more about myself in real life.

Agreed, some stuff is unintuitive. Will do better next time

Yes, I couldn't spend more time on the generation of rooms, so this shit could happen. I know it's not obvious that you can turn the light off and reenter the room, but that's something atleast.

Ohhh, thanks. Anything you want to be done better/differently?

thats better, but still, sometimes it feels like that I get momentum correctly, when falling down and pressing space, but SOMETIMES I get yellow effect, it performs a jump , but the momentum is cut.

You gotta be more generous with attack colliders for the player and make a enemy collider smaller. Otherwise it's a bit too hard to understand where I'm safe or where I can damage enemy.

I want more birds! I like the concept.

GET OVER HERE! Nice

I would love a countdown before the song actually starts, because it's hard to put my hand back on time. And it's not 4-5 buttons to play singlehandedly.

Masterful visuals. I wanna say, I got really annoyed by waiting for text after every phase of the boss. Aspecially if I died, don't want to see it, want to dodge, want to dash, don't want to wait.

I like it. It's simple and stylish.

visually great

Controls are weird. Why not wasd, space and e for interact? Or arrows z/w?

I don't understand. I press jump, sometimes enemies don't die, sometimes they die by themself.

I like it visually, but it's a bit too unforgiving for me.

I wish I could play more levels

looks nice

Jump feels very good. But it's a controller type game, I can't manage to perform a jump + directional dash on keyboard consistently.

Like the idea, but levels are too hard for me, I would prefer easier pace

Oh, shit, you are right. Maybe it's my fried tik tok brain, but I gotta say that the pacing could be a bit faster. That changes the score completely. Nice!

Reminded me of pony island and other weird games like that. Collected 206 coins, stayed with greed. You are a phycho for level 4. Pacing is a bit too slow, would love to see slightly more variaty. Sound in dialogues drove me insane, I get the idea, but it's annoying.

Sound and visuals are owesome. The chase feels intense.

Rated it all 5s. It's my favourite so far.

I like it. But I couldn't find more than 1 ending. I managed to speedrun it without turning off the light and it's not an ending. I didn't understand the writing behind shelves.

(1 edit)

I like that enemies have progression and personality. That's the most conceptually interesting part of the game. Lost all the gold on a chicken race, would bet on blue chicken again. Overall it's very well done. I found minigames boring and not essential to the game, but I hate minigames in all video games, so that's just me.

too hard honestly, can't get far enough.

I want to do something in this empty space. Is the something to do or I missed the idea?

Concept, presentation, use of limitation is 5/5. I wish only it would be a bit longer. But I can imagine that it was NOT easy to execute.

Yeap, managed to get myself stuck in a video game. Yes, that's me.

I really wanted to come to the trip :(

Presentation  and use of the limitation is great.

I feel like the idea has a lot of unexplored potential.

The idea is actually VERY GOOD: 5/5. Reminded me of a "The Fridge is Red" game. I GOTTA SAY, it's already too hard and phones are all around you, no need to make it so dark. I can see it made into a full game with more mechanics and interactions.
