Toughtful! It's a bit more abstract than games I usually play, but it was an interesting experiment for me!

Fun and flexible! Gives an airy framework with lots of room to tailor your experience to your tastes.  I also like the layout of a little pamphlet, havent seen an rpg like that before!
I do wish there was a way to heal in the rules, I rolled a 2 on health at the beginning of the game, so my adventures didn't last too long. Would play again tough!

That was really poignant, wish you the best going forward  <3

hiiiii! I've started playing the surgeon and its a lot of fun!! I made myself a super fancy character sheet (you can see it here)

I'm playing it real casually and am on day/turn 3, and was wondering if you could clarify, like, what surgery does? I was eager and performed oneon day 2 (succesfully btw) only to realize that I xant find what effects a succesful (or botched) surgery is? idk if im missing smth

oh also, is using items a free action? like eating polenta? Im assuming that using the healing gauze is a part of the Patient action

oh also it mentions in the surgery chapter that you can buy a new scalpel from the shop but theres no listed price?

sprry it ao long thank you for making this game!!

When I played the movie theater puzzle for the first time, it turns out that, even tough I didnt realize it at the time, my textured were broken, and area specific elements were pure magenta instead of the usual spoooooky texture. And frankly, it gave me a better experience! Personally, I was equally fond of and unsettled by the eerie, featureless 2D plinth haunting me during my run So turns out that even mistakes can lead to a greater experience! My only qualm is that I didnt take screenshots; I tought it was the intended experience, so now I have no proof of my adventures.

anyways, team carlthemagentarectangle forever!!

yay! my hope with my comment was to bump it up one slot on the priority list for next year haha

Hi! I tried playing this game with my european friend but to her dismay, the game didnt support controls for her azerty keyboard. could this be considered as an accessibility feature for the future? Thanks!

I love this game so much I made a website about it. It has the variant rules I use and the beginning of my game, but I wrote it on paper and am too lazy to trascribe the rest...., anyways, very cool!!!
