Avoid these charlatans

Avoid these charlatans. I wanted some matte balls for autumn/winter so I ordered 25 from golfballs.ie. I paid €11 for 1-2 day delivery with DHL. The balls eventually got delivered 7 days later. It would’ve been 6 days later but they somehow got my address wrong on the delivery details. I emailed to ask about a refund on postage costs after day 4 but received no response. Opened the box to find 25 B (at best) graded white balls. Emailed them again with pics - no response. At least I had something to show for my money, unlike others here, but I still haven’t any response at all. I’ll never use them again and would advise others to avoid them. My order came from Swindon in the UK too, so I reckon their ‘Irish based family run’ claims are more than a little dubious.

I got an order from Golfballs.ie when…

I got an order from Golfballs.ie when they arrived I didn't open them till I needed them. I took some out and I am not impressed with the quality of them. I understand they are "quality used golf balls" but some of the balls I have received have bad scuffs marks some are discoloured. Second thing is why is it down as .ie website but the Royal mail were sending me emails about my delivery ? I bought these from Golfballs.ie thinking it was a Irish company?

Failed Delivery - No Updates - Non Response When Contacted

I ordered €200 worth of golfballs on May 2nd expecting delivery 3-5 days later. I contacted them by mail using both of their contact addresses on May 14 and never received an answer back. I then tried to contact them via their online form but this form didn’t work. I now need to try and get my money back! Don’t buy from this site!

The Returns Form on this site disconnects as soon as you try populate your order data
The Contact Form forces you to enter a code that does not work so you cannot submit your query.

Helpful customer service

Bought golf balls from Golfballs.ie a couple if moths ago and there were some issues with customs on the package. After a very lengthy time speaking back and forth with customs, Simon from Golfballs.ie decided it would be better to refund me the amount paid for the customs charge.
Simon was very communicative during the whole process and was very helpful to resolve the issue.

Be Vary Careful - Cowboys

Seems to be a UK Company even though they are stating that they are Irish.
Small print VAT of 23% is put on top of their website prices obviously due to Brexit. Also postage advertised at €6.50 on the website, they then add another 23% on top of that….
Very sneaky way of doing business. They also told me as they didn’t have what I ordered originally that they would throw in extra Pearl A balls into the package as I had overpaid them. Balls arrived and no extra balls included, emailed them and they said they couldn’t fit anymore into the box. Again ridiculous stuff with plenty of room to put another 4 or 5 balls into the bag/box. Basically they over charged me and are keeping the money. Stay well clear. Looking at the other reviews maybe I was lucky to receive the balls at all.

I can honestly say that I have never…

I can honestly say that I have never come across such contempt for customers or such bad customer service.
I ordered 50 golfballs for my son's birthday on 20th March. His birthday was 5 days later. E-mailed on 27th, no response. E-mailed again and got a response of 1st April that golfballs were damaged in transit and returned. Asked to resend on 2nd April. Still no golfballs on 4th April. Had to send another e-mail today, 9th April as still no golf balls. Then told that I was refunded without any explanation or apology! Still no golf balls!

Rubbish - Avoid.

Paid up for some items, received nothing, no tracking order, no item.
Failed to respond to emails, failed to respond to pm on facebook.
I can understand stuff going missing in transit, it happens a fair bit. However, the lack of any form of customer support or even any acknowledgement of my order was very annoying.
Avoid like the plague, theres plenty other options out there
