It works..sometimes. But the amount of bugs and errors that occur every week, sometimes different errors multiple days in a row, is frankly ridiculous. For example after editing an invoice, getting a "backend error" multiple times, and then having it suddenly working again 5min later. For such a large company I cannot believe the instability of the platform.

I was previously registered with DATEV and had been able to access my account without issues. For reasons that remain completely unclear, I am now suddenly locked out and unable to access it at all.

I am being forced back to the beginning of the process, attempting to log in again using my existing email address — only to be told that an account already exists for this email. However, when I try to log in, I’m blocked because I supposedly don’t have the “correct” credentials or setup, despite having used the account before.

What follows is a never-ending loop:

links that send me back to the same starting point

instructions that contradict each other

broken or irrelevant help content

automated responses that do not resolve anything

Nothing actually fixes the problem. I just get sent around in circles.

The level of unnecessary complication here is frankly ridiculous — especially in 2026. This is an outdated, poorly designed platform that actively prevents users from completing basic tasks. What should take minutes has taken hours and is still unresolved.

This is not a matter of user error; it’s a broken system with no effective support. Completely unacceptable.

Very poor design, very slow, full of bugs.

I use Arbeitnehmer Online and am very satisfied with the digital salary statement. Easy to use, secure and if I had any questions, the customer service was also able to help me successfully.

I had to pay for several months for not using it, even after cancelling the contract they keep sending Bills and tell you that they sent you some letters with information that didn't come. So "unfortunately" I had to send another contract cancellation and hope that this time they really do it.
