I bought an article and was never…

I bought an article and was never delivered. It's been a month since the initial estimated arrival date, I have asked for refund 3 weeks ago and didn't get any yet. I call 3011, they tell me, they'll get back to me but nothing happens. Awful experience. I'm escalating to the mediateur de la consommation. Never again I'll order with Boulanger.

This is terrible

This is terrible! So today I’ve already wasted 3 hours talking to Boulanger because it’s all just robots and you can’t speak to a real person!

They are sending incorrect information to the delivery service, which by the way they chose themselves, and which stuffed my package into the mailbox. Now I can’t access my package because it’s bigger than the opening (they have a key that opens all mailboxes).

And instead of resolving this situation, Boulanger is saying that the package was not delivered!

It’s a shame I can’t attach a photo of how my package was delivered — I would also include the useless and wrong information they’re sending to the delivery service.

Both they and Colissimo are awful!

Using Boulanger to buy Starlink in…

Using Boulanger to buy Starlink in France. Used their app and purchase was confirmed. Used click and collect service and collected my item about 1 week later when I arrived in France from UK. Had received email which contained QR code, showed my ID which I was informed to bring and then collected my item in 5 minutes. Received my invoice receipt by email. Superb.

Worst ever on line purchase experience

Boulanger sold me a combination oven but in fact, they were acting as an agent for the manufacturer Bosche
they were not selling from stock.
They originally delivered-to the wrong address.
When the combination Oven was delivered, it didn’t work.
Boulanger are very difficult to contact but once contacted, they declined to offer any after sales assistance or customer service.
I was told to contact the manufacturer, which was equally difficult to achieve. It took 14 months to successfully arrange for collection of the Oven.
Once returned, Bosche agreed that the oven was faulty and agreed to make a full refund but made that refund to Boulanger on 5 January 2026 four weeks later I’m still waiting for my money to arrive in my bank .
The low rating Boulanger achieve from 1000s of reviews is fully justified. I won’t be buying anything from them again and I wouldn’t recommend anybody to do so.

The worst French company, the worst experience

Title: Shocking After-Sales Service – Feels Like a Scam

I am beyond disappointed with my experience at Boulanger after purchasing a Samsung QLED TV.

A short time after purchase, the polarising film on the screen started peeling off, which is clearly a manufacturing defect and not user damage. Despite this, I was told this issue is not covered under warranty, which is already unacceptable for a premium TV. The customer service is totally useless, rude at many times speak over you and telling you that’s your fault accusing you of all sort of things. We knew customer experience in france is appalling but not this bad, to be treated so badly by the customer service and being told to our face that we are liars with no accountability or responsibility on their end is totally un acceptable so we will be taking a class A legal against Boulanger.

What makes this even worse is that Boulanger then tried to charge me 140€ just for a technician visit, before even discussing any repair. Paying to have someone come and confirm an obvious defect on a nearly new TV is absurd and feels like a blatant attempt to shift responsibility onto the customer.

This is not what any consumer expects when buying a high-end product from a so-called reputable retailer. Warranty refusal + paid technician visit + zero accountability = terrible customer experience.

I will be escalating this matter further and will strongly advise others to think twice before buying expensive electronics from Boulanger if this is how defects are handled.
By far one of the worst after-sales experiences I’ve ever had. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM THEY WILL SCAM YOU. Look at how bad their score is.

Painful return on dangerous microwave that shot sparks and flames

Boulanger sold a truly dangerous Essentiel EM234n microwave that shot sparks and then flames. Have video proof. The Boulanger return process was painful, requiring 3 trips to get the firestarting microwave replaced. Took about 90 minutes to get it replaced in the Boulanger store in Paris 15. Tried doing a review of the item on the Boulanger website, but did not allow me access, even though I have the original receipt. I have no option but to replace it with the same model.

The most trash shop

The most trash shop! Even if they are trying to sell more their own brand , they cannot do the installation at your home EVEN THOUGH they offer you this in shop (the guy who took the money ask specifically if I want to be installed and put a note to the delivery that I want installation)!!!!!! I am staying with my stove for 4 days into my kitchen, non-functional and untill now 3 persons couldnt install it because “they dont have the right toolset”. Even the 1 star is too much for this!!!!!! Shamefull

Fantastic service from Agen store

I ordered a washing machine in store. Cyril was very helpful - finding the correct model and organising delivery for the next day. It was delivered as planned and the men installed it and made sure it worked by starting a wash. There was good communication between the sales staff and delivery people for where to install it. All in all, a very positive first experience with Boulanger. Thank you 🤩

5 stars - they were reliable for me

I was worried about the company after reading all the negative reviews. I was also worried I wouldn't receive my product after getting an email that week (after placing the order) that they were out of stock.

But I have to say the delivery was great. It was delivered on time, I could track the delivery through an online app, they texted me a delivery slot and emailed too. I could always check the status on the app. The delivery men were friendly and very helpful and carried the 45kg parcel up 6 flights of stairs. They were the only company that sold the product (an air conditioner) I wanted, also unlike DARTY they didn't charge for delivery to the room. When I was worried following their email that it was out of stock I simply texted the company on my WhatsApp and got a quick response from an actual person (not a computer) that the email was simply informing me that they were replenishing the stock. It was also very easy for me to choose my preferred delivery slot when ordering (essential as I cannot work remotely in my job).

5/5 stars! Even if I was initially worried seeing all these 1 star reviews. Maybe they've got their act together following all these bad reviews and are now a good company.

Confusing ordering process but amazing delivery/installation service.

I encountered issues on their website when trying to order a Smeg cooker. The website said it was available and in stock but the order would not go through. One has to spend some time with a useless chatbot before getting through to a human being, and this person confirmed they do not have the item in stock. She suggested I choose another model. By the time I had found one, the chat window had closed and I had to go back through the chatbot to make human contact again. I found myself back with the same person who almost immediately handed me over her colleague. After more discussions interpsersed with long gaps on their I found a compromise and chose a different model of Smeg. The service person then said he'd looked through my previous conversation with his colleague and in fact they did have my original Smeg cooker choice! He then handed me back to his colleague and I finally made the order...

Despite all this hassle, they delivered the next day on time, took away my old cooker and installed the new one - at no extra charge! There was a part missing from the cooker but the same guy delivered it a couple of days later.

So a great result in the end, but clearly some issues at the front end of the ordering process.
