on Oct 8, 2026 Thanks for the clear report, @Jp-Tartaros, and welcome! #521 fixes this: once you press on the first anchor, the gesture is a close — dragging only shapes the closing curve (Alt breaks the handles), and the path closes wherever you release, with no more flicker. When you make a simple shape with the pen tool and use Bezier curves, the last point when you close the shape using Bezier, the UI flickers and the curve appears and disappears. When you stop the adjustment and the curve is missing, the shape wont close. When you stop and the curve is visible, it will close the shape.
