[Bug] Shape builder tool ignores lines and paths with no joined points #374
Thanks for the report and the video, @nyzinux! This should be fixed by #402.
Cutting: the Shape Builder now treats stroke-only lines and open paths as cutting edges. A line across a shape splits it into regions you can merge, or delete with Alt, and lines alone can enclose a region you can fill.
Line pieces: Alt-clicking a piece of a line deletes that piece. Merging across a line removes the piece between the regions.
Filled open paths: these count as closed, as with Illustrator's default "Consider Open Filled Path as Closed".
As shown here:

Any shape that isn't a line works, but when the line intersects the shapes the tool ignores it completely instead of dividing the shape in parts.
Same thing can go for when multiple lines cross and form a closed shape.
