Do not open a public GitHub issue for security vulnerabilities.
To report a vulnerability:
- Open a GitHub Security Advisory in this repository.
- Provide a clear description of the vulnerability, steps to reproduce, and any relevant context or impact assessment.
You can expect an initial response within 72 hours of submission. If the vulnerability is confirmed, a fix will be prioritized based on severity. You will be credited in the release notes unless you prefer to remain anonymous.
If the report is declined, you will receive an explanation of why it does not meet the threshold for a security fix.
