I'm a frontend engineer with four years of experience building fast, accessible interfaces in React, Next.js and TypeScript. Originally from Kansas City, currently in Austin, and a former teacher before I moved into software.
- 🔭 Most recently I led frontend development at LIFO, an inventory SaaS for 105+ Square POS merchants, where I built the real-time dashboard and our Square catalog integration. Before that, two years at TrendyMinds, a digital agency, building marketing sites and reusable component libraries for 20+ enterprise clients.
- 🤖 I work with Claude Code and Cursor daily. I keep a pattern library in the repo that agents have to conform to, with linting plus unit and end-to-end tests as the guardrails, so the model extends existing patterns instead of inventing new ones.
- ♿ Accessibility is a default rather than a retrofit. WCAG 2.1 and ARIA from the start.
- 🌱 Currently going deeper on the Next.js App Router, React Server Components, and shipping LLM-backed features.
