I tried to backport this in the Debian python2.7 package, but this doesn't seem to have any effect. I also can't see a reference to the SSL_CTX_set_tmp_ecdh in /usr/lib/python2.7/lib-dynload/_ssl.x86_64-linux-gnu.so file before or after the patch, so things aren't making sense to me. Can someone help?

With a simple test program it actually looks fixed

SSL_CTX_set_tmp_ecdh is implemented as a macro.
