Code Review
This pull request correctly replaces @abstractmethod with raise NotImplementedError in the workflow base classes. This is a good improvement, as it makes the API contract explicit for subclasses without forcing the use of abc.ABC and prevents silent failures from empty pass statements. The changes are consistent across the codebase. I have one suggestion for further consistency regarding the Workflow class still inheriting from ABC. Additionally, I've noted a potential pre-existing bug in AsyncRewardPropagationWorkflow.run_async that is highly relevant to your changes: it calls self.reward() instead of await self.reward_async(), which will cause a runtime error.
