Home Surveillance System with Raspberry Pi and OpenCV

Pervasive Computing Project LP3, V24 in the course M7012E - 2024.

This project aims to develop a robust Home Surveillance System utilizing Raspberry Pi, Pi Camera, openCV, ZeroKey positioning system, a rotating PTZ camera, Dropbox, and Slack. It was initiated and executed as a collaborative effort at Luleå University of Technology under the supervision of Kåre Synnes.

Introduction

The Home Surveillance System is designed to provide comprehensive monitoring capabilities using accessible hardware components and innovative software solutions. By integrating Raspberry Pi, Pi Camera, openCV for image processing, ZeroKey positioning system for spatial tracking, a rotating PTZ camera for dynamic surveillance, and seamless integration with Dropbox and Slack, the system offers advanced functionality for home security
