Friday Face Off

I really like your kitty art Andrea. And the Japanese pieces is amazing. I bet it will look great when you get all the colors in. And I had to smile at your comment on my blog. Yes, usually when you say something (like I haven't been stung by a bee in years) that means a sting is coming. It probably will too. It works the same way for me as it does for you. Hi Andrea... or should I say Cousin Andrea! I absolutely LOVE your Asian inspired self-portrait with Buffy. It's just like the Japanese prints in a book I have.
Well it may well be taken from a Japanese book you have ... I have had this print laying around my art room for a long time. I am guessing I got it from my mother who loved all things oriental. Truth is, I don't know the source, but would like to ... can you send me the name of your book? And yes, we are cousins at heart, for sure :)

Everything with a cat is great, but you did some beautiful work here, Andrea. I reminds me of Japanese prints.
