StreamPulse

Twitch & Kick live alerts and auto-claimed channel points

Visit

StreamPulse is a free, open-source browser extension for people who watch streams on both Twitch and Kick. It shows who you follow is live in one dashboard, alerts you when a stream starts, and claims your channel points and Drops automatically while you watch.

Twitch buries your favorites under recommendations, and bonus points only drop if you're there to click. StreamPulse fixes both from one lightweight extension for Chrome, Firefox and Edge.

It needs no account and no Twitch login, and never touches your OAuth token: rewards are claimed by clicking the button in your own tab. The code is public under GPL v3, and it works alongside BetterTTV, 7TV and FrankerFaceZ.

Use Cases

Following streamers on two platforms: see Twitch and Kick lives in one place instead of checking both sites.

Never missing a stream start: get a desktop notification the moment a favorite goes live.

Farming channel points without clicking: keep a stream open in a background tab and let bonuses and Drops be claimed for you.

Watching long streams without interruptions: the player stays running when you switch tabs and recovers by itself after errors.

Keeping chat readable: hide spam or specific words and users.

Tracking your viewing habits: see how much time you spend on each channel and share a monthly recap.

Hey Fazier 👋 I'm Alexis, and I built StreamPulse because I follow streamers on both Twitch and Kick and kept missing lives: Twitch buries favorites under recommendations, and channel points only drop if you're there to click. It started as a small "who's live" popup for myself. Then came desktop alerts, Kick support, favorites pinned in the Twitch sidebar, auto-claimed points and Drops, and a player that keeps running when you switch tabs. One thing mattered to me from day one: trust. Some "points farming" extensions ask for your Twitch login, and one recently leaked thousands of users' tokens. StreamPulse needs no login and never touches your token, and the whole code is open source so anyone can check. It's not a replacement for 7TV or BetterTTV: it works alongside them. The core is free, and Fazier users get 30% off StreamPulse+ with code FAZIER. I'd love your feedback: what would you add?

Nice that rewards are claimed by clicking the button in your own tab rather than touching the OAuth token — that's a much safer design than most auto-claim extensions. Does the anti-pause feature still work if Twitch changes its player markup, and how do you handle Kick, which seems to have no equivalent channel points flow?

Really useful if you follow people on both platforms. Having live channels, viewers, category, and uptime in one place saves a lot of tab switching. The desktop alerts when someone goes live are the main reason I keep it open. Nice idea!
