Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions so far. I hope you like the place and decide to stay.

Here are some links to pages you may find useful:

You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but if you wish to acquire additional privileges, you can simply create a named account. It's free, requires no personal information, and lets you:

Note that in order for the first three features to be available, you must have had an account for a certain number of days and made a certain number of edits.

If you edit without using a named account, your IP address (47.144.146.32) is used to identify you instead.

I hope that you, as a Wikipedian, decide to continue contributing to our project: an encyclopedia of human knowledge that anyone can edit. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, or you can click here to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. [edit]

Hi there- this is about an edit made here on 24 July last year, by this IP address, so if it wasn't you, just disregard it. This edit is very much against the WP:BLP policy (please read it). You should never put in unsourced information into any biography of a living person, and especially things like drug addiction, legal matters etc. Make sure the information comes from a reliable source- WP:RS- no tabloids, gossip magazines or internet celebrity type sites. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me at my talkpage, or at the Teahouse (which would probably get a quicker response). I also posted a welcome template for you; I see you seem to have been editing awhile, but there are some good links up there. . Curdle (talk) 10:32, 8 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm S0091. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Jonathan Banks, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! S0091 (talk) 01:37, 28 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Information icon Hello, I'm jeh.In addition to sourcing issues, please be aware of a specific provision in WP:BLP, "Privacy of names":

The presumption in favor of privacy is strong in the case of family members of articles' subjects and other loosely involved, otherwise low-profile persons. The names of any immediate, former, or significant family members or any significant relationship of the subject of a BLP may be part of an article, if reliably sourced, subject to editorial discretion that such information is relevant to a reader's complete understanding of the subject. However, names of family members who are not also notable public figures must be removed from an article if they are not properly sourced.

I appreciate and understand your enthusiasm for adding information to Wikipedia. However, I see no indication that parents' or spouses' names are "relevant to a reader's complete understanding of" Dean Norris or Betsy Brandt. Accordingly, I have removed those details from the articles on Betsy Brandt and Dean Norris, and I ask that you not add such information to Jonathan Banks, however well sourced. Thank you for your understanding. Jeh (talk) 05:41, 28 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
