The sources are over 20 years old Chidgk1 (talk) 15:51, 11 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Most articles on Wikipedia use references that are relatively old. Its common usage on Wikipedia. Semsûrî (talk) 19:16, 11 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Depends what for - sometimes old sources are still useful sometimes not.
In 20 years I expect many people will have died, been born or moved in or out of the district Chidgk1 (talk) 06:20, 12 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Now that you have experienced pushback twice please stop adding that template. A reference from 2002 is not outdated, unless you have a more recent source that states that the circumstances have changed. Semsûrî (talk) 15:23, 1 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I will now take this article off my watchlist as the discussion is a bit silly - for example I see from the Umutlu, Nurhak article that only 58 people lived there in 2022. I have never been to the place but I doubt anyone reading this article cares whether whoever lived there 20 years previously called themselves Turks or Kurds or any other ethnic group. Neither the Turkish nor the Kurdish articles on Nurhak mention ethnicity. Chidgk1 (talk) 15:45, 1 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
