Little Richard
[edit]Little Richard Penniman had two gorgeous girlfriends - Phyllis Anita Mills maiden name Phyllis Anita Smith married name and Audrey Robinson maiden name Audrey Sherborne married name Lee Angel burlesque/stripper stage name
In the 2000 biopic movie "Little Richard" the role of Phyllis as Richard's girlfriend was played by Taraji P. Henson a look-alike of Phyllis. There were also positive character traits of Lucille Horne for whom he wrote his hit song added to the persona.
Although Phyllis had passed away four years prior to filming Richard kept his promise never to use her name in his media coverage. Therefore the name Lucille was used for the girlfriend role instead of the name Phyllis.
However the love of his life was his beloved wife Ernestine and being a father to their adopted son Danny was profoundly important to Richard.
After their divorce Ernestine remarried but eventually reunited with Richard to live out his final years inseparably. As Richard passed on his wish for Ernestine to be by his side was fulfilled. Ernestine was honored as his wife during his funeral.

Infobox image (again)
[edit]This has to be the worst image, I (yes, without consensus or discussion) thought my change would not be contested. My choice is File:Little Richard in 2007 (cropped) (2).jpg, it was everted. Page watchers, what are your opinions? - FlightTime (open channel) 20:27, 2 May 2023 (UTC)
Hi, I'm the one who reverted it - let me know if this wasn't the correct course of action. I reverted it because of a previous discussion on here where the 2007 image was not favoured and the consensus was that an image of a young Richard was necessary. I actually supported keeping the 07 image at the time. I do agree the current image, which I sourced and uploaded, is of poor image quality but it was the best I could find from the first decade or so of his stardom. I might have another look for alternatives. Humbledaisy (talk) 21:54, 3 May 2023 (UTC)
- @Humbledaisy: It doesn't matter who added it to the article, my only concern is getting it changed. - FlightTime (open channel) 21:58, 3 May 2023 (UTC)
I'm just letting you know because it's pertinent to my opinion which you asked for? I was only trying to be helpful. Humbledaisy (talk) 22:15, 3 May 2023 (UTC)
1970 Rill Thing image
[edit]Did anybody consider this image of Richard from 1970, when he was recording The Rill Thing? I think the photo looks well-cleaned while illustrating his youth. It's cropped a bunch but I don't believe it deters from readers recognizing the subject. Carlinal (talk) 05:20, 20 July 2023 (UTC)
