Character's First Name

[edit]

Is there a hard, fast source for "Jennie"? Reference material produced from DC had used "Jenny" of late. — J Greb 15:27, 30 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

From her first appearance in Infinity Inc. onwards she was always known as Jennie-Lynn. I think the "Jenny" thing slipped into Green Lantern because the writers didn't know any better. — Xyzandra 18:46, 8 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Green Lantern Corps member?

[edit]

Please help me with this question that has raisen while checking the traslation of this article for the Spanish Wikipedia:

Maybe I'm wrong but I thought that, as the GL Corps had been destroyed when Kyle gave Jen a power ring, she couldn't be counted as a member. Furthermore, in Green Lantern (vol.3) #138, page 11, Jen says "Well, technically, I'm NOT a Green Lantern".

--Guille (discussion), a.k.a. 200.70.176.54 19:16, 18 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If Kyle was the only Green Lantern at the time, then wouldn't what he said applies? If he says Jade is a member, she is a member. Lots42 08:44, 21 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
It maybe hair splitting, but when Kyle gave her the ring (v3 #107) it was part of the lead up to him trying to recreate the Corps. It is possible that, since there was a change in writers between the issues, there was also a change in how the name "Green Lantern" was applied. — J Greb 19:30, 18 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Half Sibling

[edit]

According to Mayflower, this dead superhero is also Jade's half-sister.Lots42 08:45, 21 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Green Lantern Jade.jpg

[edit]

Image:Green Lantern Jade.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit]

I disagree, it's noteable because Jade met, in continuity, a being that can cross over to the MARVEL universe. Lots42 (talk) 00:42, 2 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Green Lantern V?

[edit]

I thought that when she is referenced in Alex Ross's Kingdom Come, she was refered to as Green Lantern VI

  1. Alan Scott
  2. Hal Jordan
  3. John Stewart
  4. Guy Gardner
  5. Kyle Rayner
  6. Jade

Mid-level rating could be supported as charater is a strong support of and closely linked to the article Green Lantern, which could be rated as "High" (not rated as of this time). — J Greb 18:12, 13 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

== downgrading of article to C class ==

I have downgraded the article to "C" class. It is lacking in citations and other forms of references.--Rockfang (talk) 22:42, 13 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
