What is an FAQ widget?
An FAQ widget is a set of questions and answers you embed on a page, usually as an accordion, so visitors open only the answer they need. EmbedSocial builds one in the AI editor. How do I add an FAQ widget to my website?
Start from an FAQ template or describe the widget in AI design, add your questions and answers, then copy the embed code and paste it into your page.
Can I show customer reviews inside the FAQ answers?
Yes. With the Dark FAQ Accordion with Customer Reviews template, an open answer can show a review with its star rating, photo and review source. Connect your review source, then choose which review shows under each answer.
Does the FAQ widget add FAQ schema?
Yes. The FAQ Accordion with Schema Markup template has FAQ schema built into its code, filled with your questions and answers. It helps search engines and AI assistants read your answers, but it does not guarantee rich results or AI citations. Since 2023, Google shows FAQ rich results only for well-known government and health sites.
Will an FAQ widget help me show up in AI search?
Clear, direct answers are easier for AI assistants to read and quote, and schema makes the structure explicit. No widget can guarantee a citation, so write answers that are specific and true.
Is there an FAQ plugin for WordPress or Shopify?
No separate plugin needed. The FAQ widget embeds with one code on WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Webflow, Squarespace and any HTML page.
Can I match the FAQ widget to my brand?
