Roo Code 3.54.0 is the final Roo Code release. The Roo Code team has stopped shipping bug fixes, features, and model updates for the extension. It keeps working with Requesty, but for new setups we recommend Cline.
Many of our users use the Requesty router for the Roo Code coding agent. Quickly change model provider to continue coding with your preferred model.
Open Roo Code from the Activity Bar. On the first launch, click Get Started to reach Choose your provider. If Roo Code is already set up, open its settings instead.
In the API Provider dropdown, search for and select Requesty.
Paste your key into Requesty API Key. You can create one on the API Keys Page, or click Create new Requesty API Key.
Click Refresh Models to load the models your key can use.
Pick a model in the Model field, for example anthropic/claude-sonnet-4-6. You can find every ID in the Model Library. The default coding/claude-4-sonnet is no longer available, so change it before you continue.
Click Finish (or Save in settings).
Leave Use custom base URL unchecked. Roo Code sends requests to https://router.requesty.ai/v1 by default.
