Method: projects.locations.lakes.delete

Deletes a lake resource. All zones within the lake must be deleted before the lake can be deleted.

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

Path parameters

Parameters

Required. The resource name of the lake: projects/{projectNumber}/locations/{locationId}/lakes/{lakeId}.

Authorization requires the following IAM permission on the specified resource name:

  • dataplex.lakes.delete

Request body

The request body must be empty.

Response body

If successful, the response body contains an instance of Operation.

Authorization scopes

Requires one of the following OAuth scopes:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-platform
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/dataplex.read-write
