I used Lovable to build Steadiora™, a free, private, 24/7 recovery-support platform inspired by my own sobriety journey. I am approaching two years alcohol-free, and I wanted to create the kind of support people can reach for during the moments that often happen quietly; the late nights, cravings, setbacks, isolation, fear, and uncertainty about what to do next.

Steadiora includes AI-guided recovery-support meetings, craving and grounding tools, private journaling, daily check-ins, safety planning, personal goals, trusted-contact tools, interactive RESET activities, and supportive resources.

Lovable unlocked something powerful for me:

the ability to take an idea that was deeply personal and turn it into a real, functioning platform without waiting for a traditional development team or a large technology budget.

Through Lovable, I was able to build and refine authentication, database security, private member tools, live AI-led meeting rooms, transactional email, mobile-responsive experiences, custom-domain publishing, and multiple safety-focused user flows.

More importantly, it gave me the ability to keep testing, improving, and asking, “What would someone need if they opened this app during one of the hardest moments of their life?”

The process was not always easy, especially because Steadiora handles sensitive recovery-related experiences and required extensive attention to privacy, security, crisis limitations, accessibility, and responsible AI behavior. But Lovable gave me a practical path from concept to launch.

Steadiora will remain free to the public. My goal is not simply to build another app... it is to create a calm, dignified place that may help someone pause, ask for support, or choose the next right step.

I am genuinely grateful that Lovable helped make this possible, and I would be honored for your team to take a look at what we built.

A minha experiência com a Lovable (opinião pessoal)

Infelizmente, a minha experiência com a Lovable tem sido bastante dececionante.

Nos últimos dois meses perdi um número significativo de créditos durante o desenvolvimento de projetos profissionais. No primeiro caso, perdi cerca de 102 créditos. Neste segundo caso, perdi cerca de 62 créditos, apesar de seguir rigorosamente todas as recomendações da plataforma: utilizar o Plan Mode, implementar uma funcionalidade de cada vez, recorrer ao Prompt Assistant da própria Lovable e validar previamente as implementações.

Em ambas as situações solicitei uma análise detalhada e a restituição dos créditos. Em ambas as situações a resposta foi a mesma: a plataforma concluiu que não existiu qualquer erro da sua parte e recusou qualquer reembolso.

O que mais me desiludiu não foi a perda dos créditos, mas a forma como o caso foi tratado. Solicitei várias vezes que o assunto fosse analisado por um responsável hierárquico, mas o meu pedido nunca foi atendido. Em vez disso, recebi respostas padronizadas que, na minha opinião, se limitaram a defender a política interna da empresa, sem uma verdadeira análise da situação concreta.

Como utilizador profissional, tenho vários clientes que dependem dos projetos que desenvolvo nesta plataforma. Quando uma ferramenta não responde de forma consistente, o impacto não é apenas financeiro: afeta prazos, compromissos e a confiança dos meus próprios clientes.

Partilho esta experiência para que outros utilizadores possam tomar uma decisão informada antes de investir na plataforma.

Espero sinceramente que a Lovable reveja a forma como trata situações deste género e passe a colocar a experiência do cliente ao mesmo nível dos seus interesses internos.

Esta é a minha experiência pessoal e os factos que vivi. Se a empresa decidir reavaliar o caso e encontrar uma solução justa, terei todo o gosto em atualizar esta publicação.

I m at half way into a project with lovable, at the beginning of project I could make a page for 18+ related content, like finance, etc . By the middle project , it says its lovable policy not to do that . So if someone makes a porn app , anyone can see it , even your kids , because lovable can't restrict it

Overall the best vibe conding platform. We manage to build simple application and internal tools in a few hours. Lovable cloud missing same features compared to supabase integration. If you are looking for small apps its ok if you are building bigger application consider use the Supabase connector. In general the best ai coding tool we used so far.

Absolutely horrible application. It will push you into an endless loop of fixing the same rendering issue. It will tell you that it is fixed, but it remains the same - broken. Here it starts all over and over again. In the end, you will lose all your credits for nothing. Though the plan is already quite expensive. Absolutely hate it and DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Two weeks ago this would have been a 5-star review. Then Lovable broke my LIVE, revenue-generating site. and showed me what their support is really like.

A platform-side change between 24–29 June killed email functionality on my app. Nothing changed on my end: no DNS edits, no config changes, no code changes. The app was fully tested before launch and worked flawlessly for weeks. I have lost paying customers as a direct result.

Worse than the breakage is the response. Support has been the poorest I've experienced from any SaaS provider, slow, generic replies that ignore the substance of the issue. The apparent strategy is to stall until you give up. I run compliance services professionally; I know what a functioning incident process looks like, and this isn't one.

I've sent a final request for resolution. If it's ignored, I'll be pursuing a chargeback for credits purchased, on the basis that the product is no longer fit for purpose.

Genuinely a shame. The build tool itself is impressive, which is why I trusted it with a live product. But a platform that breaks production apps and then goes silent isn't one any business can rely on. Until they fix their support culture, I'd advise anyone building something that matters to look elsewhere.

Very bad customer service, Be careful your live website they can takedown anytime your all efforts go waste they don't care. The have email support and never solved any issue

Vraiment simple pour obtenir un aperçu d'une idée d'app rapidement. En revanche, dès que l'on souhaite aller au bout d'un projet et rentrer dans les détails, c'est littéralement des heures et d'innombrables crédits perdus pour de toutes petites corrections. Hyper frustrants, à mon sens pas adapté pour obtenir un réel produit fini 100% exploitable et commercialisable comparé aux solutions qui existent désormais.
