Inspiration
The Hackathon and the Prosa challenge were our only inspirations.
What it does
DeTask is a workplace wellbeing platform designed to help employees unplug and prevent burnout. Through a lightweight Chrome extension, employees are encouraged to take small daily surveys, while a company dashboard provides anonymized, team-level insights into overall well-being. We never expose individual data - everything is aggregated and privacy-first. This allows companies to proactively support their teams without compromising trust. In short, DeTask helps teams work better by knowing when to pause.
How we built it
Using the knowledge we have gained in school (we are 2nd-semester Computer Science students, here at S-E-A Esbjerg), the workshops, and a lot of trial and error.
Challenges we ran into
A lack of experience and using a lot of technologies and frameworks we haven't used before.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
That we had the courage to come to this hackathon, and try a lot of new stuff, and to get out of our comfort zone.
What we learned
Code assistance that is implemented in VS Code and other AI-related tools. - Both through the workshops and using it in the coding itself.
What's next for DeTask
Hopefully, putting up a fight at the event closure tomorrow. Hopefully, giving company employees a better mental health state.
