About the GPU compute datasets

The GPU class holds the Ornn Compute Price Index (OCPI) family: daily settled USD-per-GPU-hour benchmarks for H100 SXM, H200, B200 and A100 SXM4, built from transacted neocloud rental deals rather than posted rate cards, listed on Bloomberg and used for pricing, hedging and settlement across the compute market. Alongside the indices sit the published forward curves by tenor, market utilization, GPU payback periods and the roster of tracked compute buyers.

Which GPU prices are free to read?

The four headline indices are public: the latest settled value, 1/7/30-day changes and a three-month daily history for H100 SXM, H200, B200 and A100 SXM4 on their market pages, and the same values through the keyless REST API (and through the MCP server with a free Ornn account). Forward curves, hourly grain, in-app exports and the B300, GB200 and GB300 curves are part of a subscription.

How often do the GPU indices update?

Each OCPI index settles once a day, over the 24-hour window ending 4:00 PM ET, from that window's transacted rental prices. Full-tier subscribers also receive the hourly index; the public pages and free API carry the daily settle.

How is a GPU rental price index different from a provider price list?

A price list is what one operator asks. The OCPI is a volume-weighted, winsorized average of prices at which GPU rental deals actually cleared across the neocloud market, so it reflects what buyers pay rather than what sellers post. The methodology, universe and governance are published at data.ornn.com/methodology.
