My day job has been in theatre ticketing and accessibility in the UK for the last 11 or so years, working in a variety of venues both in and out of the West End, through which I trained as an accredited trade union representative with BECTU, specialising in Health & Safety in the workplace.
Outside of that, I am a speculative fiction writer, an independent podcaster, and an audiobook narrator/voice over artist, while I also have prior journalism experience in the film and entertainment sector, with a brief stint as a film curator in the UK indie cinema scene.
I am currently open to collaboration requests in the audio space; see my contact page and freelance rates page for details.

From hosting and producing podcasts since 2008, to narrating fiction more recently, I’ve been involved in audio for a long time. You can check out all my past and present audio projects, listen to my narrator/voice-over reel, or take a look at my freelance rates if you’d like to hire me for anything from narrating your audiobook to producing, editing, or transcribing your podcast.
I have a couple of novels and a few short stories in the works, which I sometimes blog about on my newsletter or main blog.
My main project at the moment is tentatively titled 59 North, and is a story about a secret society of Swedish superheroes. It was longlisted for the 2019 London Writers Awards, and I’ve been working on it with my mentor, Justin Lee Anderson, through the British Fantasy Society’s inaugural Mentorship Scheme in 2025/26.
I did a lot of film press work in the mid-2010s, including reviews, op-eds, interviews, and film festival coverage in London and Edinburgh; since then I’ve moved on to more occasional culture writing, such as my column on speculative theatre and art events on the BSFA’s Vector journal, or my Fannish Musings blog segment.

Most of my performance is in audio form these days, but I sometimes (extremely rarely!) also do theatre. Find all my credits under the ‘Performance’ tag here.
Something I dabble in from time to time is putting on a film for folks to enjoy; whether at a small cinema or as part of a larger festival, it’s always fun to share wonderful art with more people. These are my projects in that area; I do hope to do more of this at some point in the future, so keep your eyes peeled!
In my spare time (!), I organise Spetrum Writers London, a critique and community group for science fiction and fantasy authors in Greater London and its surrounding areas.
