Terms of Use

Plain-language version of the usual legal page.

The service

CutDone is a tool for designing and printing goal-tracking paper strips, provided by Tim Jia. The Builder, the Designer, the checklist library and basic printing are free. CutDone Pro is an optional one-time purchase (see below). The site is provided "as is," with no uptime guarantee and no warranty of any kind.

The checklists are suggestions, not advice

The checklist library (health, money, learning, and other categories) reflects general, common-sense suggestions — not medical, financial, legal, or professional advice. If a checklist touches your health or finances in a way that matters, check with an actual professional before acting on it. See How We Write These for how the checklists are drafted and reviewed.

Your content

Anything you type into the Builder or the Designer is yours. It stays in your browser; CutDone doesn't claim ownership of it or use it for anything — see the Privacy Policy.

Posting on the Goal Wall

  • Age. You must be at least 13 years old to post on the Goal Wall (or older, if your country sets a higher minimum age for using online services on your own).
  • It's public. A goal you post, and the name you sign it with, can be seen by anyone. Don't post personal details such as your full name, address, phone number or email.
  • What you allow CutDone to do. You keep ownership of what you post. By posting, you give CutDone a free, non-exclusive permission to store it and show it publicly on cutdone.com until it is deleted.
  • Rules. Plain text only, no links, no ads, and nothing illegal, hateful, harassing or sexual. Posting is limited to 3 goals per 10 minutes and 10 per day per browser.
  • Moderation. Anyone can report a post. A post reported by 3 different people is hidden until I review it. I may remove any post that breaks these rules, without notice.
  • Deleting. You can delete your own post from the browser you posted it from. From another device, email me the post's text and I'll remove it. How long posts are kept is described in the Privacy Policy.

CutDone Pro purchases and refunds

CutDone Pro costs $4.99 (USD), paid once through PayPal. It unlocks Designer Pro's premium list styles, decorative header styles, stickers and board icons (currently 15 list styles, 6 header styles, 39 stickers and 12 board icons, including printing and downloading designs that use them), the 2027 Pro Pack, and up to 10 AI goal breakdowns per day, in the browser you buy it on. The Classic style, custom colors and Print, PNG, PDF and QR stay free for everyone. The AI allowance is a fair-use limit: it may change if the AI provider's cost or availability changes, and AI breakdowns may be briefly unavailable when the service is at capacity. AI drafts are suggestions, not professional advice. There's no subscription and nothing renews. After paying you get a license key (on screen, and by email when email delivery is available). To use Pro in another browser or on another device, use the unlock link in that email, or choose "Restore" in the Pro dialog and enter your PayPal email with your license key, or the transaction ID from your PayPal receipt. Keep your key to yourself; it's tied to your purchase. If a purchase is refunded (or reversed through PayPal), Pro is switched off for that purchase and its license key.

Refunds: if you're not satisfied with CutDone Pro for any reason, email me within 30 days of purchase and I'll refund you in full. No forms, no hoops, no questions asked.

  • Email levantuann002@gmail.com with the subject line "Refund request".
  • Include your PayPal transaction ID or the email address you paid with.
  • I'll process the refund within 1 business day (usually within a few hours). PayPal typically returns the money to your account within 3–5 business days.
  • If you open a PayPal dispute, please email me first. I resolve refund requests faster than the PayPal dispute process and won't contest a refund request made in good faith.

Anything you already printed or downloaded remains yours to keep.

Acceptable use

Don't use CutDone to generate, print or post anything illegal, harassing, or intended to harm someone.

No liability

Use CutDone at your own discretion. Tim Jia / CutDone isn't liable for outcomes from following a checklist, printing issues on your end, or anything else arising from use of the site, to the fullest extent the law allows. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that can't be waived under the law of your country.
