The Laravel Developer Certification is designed for Student, Junior and Senior Laravel developers who love to work with the framework. It's meant to validate your deep understanding of Laravel’s internals as well as your practical skills in building robust projects with Laravel.
How does it work?
The Laravel Developer Certification offers exams at three levels.All exams have 45 multiple-choice questions (with code based questions), last maximum one hour, and require a 75% pass rate.
You can retake failed exams within one month, and passed certifications are valid for life.
Practice exams are available. All Exams are updated with Laravel 12.

Student Developer Exam
The first stage is all about the basics for starting Laravel Developers and students.
45 Multiple choice questions, 100% theoretical questions, 1-hour time limit.
75% of the questions need to be correct to pass, if you fail you can take a free re-take within 1 month.
Junior Developer Exam
The second stage is for junior Laravel developers with a practical coding experience of 1 to 2 years.
45 Multiple choice questions, 50% theoretical questions, 50% code example questions, 1-hour time limit.
75% of the questions need to be correct to pass, if you fail you can take a free re-take within 1 month.
Senior Developer Exam
The third stage is for experienced Laravel developers with 3 to 5 years of coding experience. This is same as the "old" Certification Exam.
45 Multiple choice questions, 20% theoretical questions, 80% code example questions, 1-hour time limit.
75% of the questions need to be correct to pass, if you fail you can take a free re-take within 1 month.

The exam covers a list of topics related to the Certification for Laravel.
You need to be fluent in building apps using the Laravel framework v12.0.
You need working knowledge of recent PHP versions, including topics such as object oriented, closures, and various commonly used features.
If your day job involves building Laravel applications, you’ll probably do fine.
We’re also testing your knowledge of best practices in the Laravel community.
It’s a good idea to go over the Laravel documentation, and get a refresher.
Various ecosystem packages and services are not tested, such as Homestead, Forge, Cashier, Valet, Mix, Lumen, Spark, StyleCi, Passport, Statamic, …
Vouchers are valid for one year after purchase. They cannot be refunded or used for registration after expiration.

You require 75% correct answers to pass the exam.
You have 1 hour to complete the exam
Full or partial refunds are available within 2 weeks of purchase if the voucher hasn't been used. Refunds are only for product purchases, not registered candidates.

Yes, that is possible, you will never lose your certification, but we offer already certified developers a chance to upgrade their existing certification to the latest version of Laravel at a reduced rate
Upon passing the exam you will receive the badge, an updated certificate and your listing in the Database will be updated to reflect your upgrade.
