Terms of Service
Last updated September 22, 2026
Visibility Kit is a free service that tells a website owner how much of their traffic came from AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity. This page is the agreement between us and the people who connect a site to it. It is short on purpose.
Who you are agreeing with
Visibility Kit is operated by Complete Web Resources LLC, a Texas limited liability company based in Austin, Texas, United States. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean that company, and “you” means the person or organization that connects a site.
You agree to these terms by connecting a site or by signing in to the dashboard. If you are doing that for a company or a client, you are confirming you are authorized to agree on their behalf.
What the service does
We give you a script to run on your site and a dashboard that reports the visits it attributes to AI tools. That is the whole product. What the script collects, what we keep, and how long we keep it are set out in the privacy policy.
What it costs
Nothing. Visibility Kit is free to use today. If we introduce charges we will say so in advance, and you will never be charged without agreeing to it first.
The numbers are estimates
This matters more than anything else on this page, so it is worth being blunt about it. Visibility Kit works out where a visit came from by reading the referring URL that the visitor’s browser sends. Some AI tools send one, some do not, some send one only sometimes, and all of them can change that behavior without telling anyone. Undercounting is built into the method.
So the figures in the dashboard are an estimate of AI-referred traffic, not a measurement of it. Do not rely on them as a system of record, and do not use them as the basis for billing, financial reporting, or anything with a legal consequence. Visitor records are deleted after 30 days, so Visibility Kit is not an archive either. If you need a number for the long term, export it while it is there.
The service is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We do not promise it will be available without interruption, that it will be free of errors, or that it will detect every AI referral.
We may change or stop the service
We can add, change, or remove features at any time, and we can suspend or discontinue Visibility Kit entirely. This is a free product and we want to be straightforward about that rather than imply a permanence we have not promised.
If we discontinue the service as a whole, we will email connected site owners at least 30 days beforehand so there is time to export anything worth keeping. Individual features may change with less notice than that.
What we need from you
- Connect only sites you own or are authorized to administer.
- You are the controller for the visitor data we process on your behalf. You are responsible for telling your visitors about the tracking, for having a lawful basis for it, and for obtaining consent before the script runs where your law requires it. Declare our cookies in your own cookie policy. The cookie notice lists them in a form you can copy.
- Sign-in is by emailed link, so whoever controls the connected mailbox controls the account. Keep it secure.
- Do not try to reach another account’s data, and do not use the service to break the law.
Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost business, or lost or inaccurate data, arising out of your use of Visibility Kit. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or US$100.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law. If you are a consumer, this section does not take away rights your local law gives you.
If someone brings a claim against us because you ran the script without the disclosure or consent your law required, or otherwise did not meet your responsibilities as controller, you will cover our reasonable costs in dealing with it.
Data protection
The privacy policy explains what we collect and why. If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area, or your visitors are, our data processing agreement also applies. It is part of these terms and it applies automatically. You do not need to sign it, request a copy, or write to us to put it in place. Where it and these terms disagree about personal data, the data processing agreement is the one that governs.
The WordPress plugin is separate
Visibility Kit connects through the Website LLMs.txt plugin, which is free software distributed under the GPL through WordPress.org. These terms govern the hosted service only. Nothing here restricts any right the GPL gives you in that plugin’s code.
Stopping
You can stop at any time by disconnecting in the plugin settings, which removes the script from your site. We can suspend or close an account that breaches these terms. Either way, visitor records age out on the usual 30-day schedule and account data is deleted on request.
Changes to these terms
If we change them we will update this page and change the date at the top, and we will tell connected site owners directly when a change is significant. Continuing to use Visibility Kit after that means you accept the new version.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and the courts of Travis County, Texas have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer in the UK or the European Economic Area, the mandatory protections of your own country’s law still apply to you.
