Wise asks for a document that is max 12 months old, I send a document dated 2026/03/10, the document is rejected for being too old.
In what universe, there is a time difference of more than 12 months between 2026/07/14 and 2026/03/10????

Edit to answer Wise: no, you're lying. My document was not rejected due to whatever reason you make up, my document was rejected for being too old, and the reason is clearly stated and I made a screenshot, because I am used to you hiding the reason and then lying that things were actually different.

⚠️ WISE BREACHING EU LAW. FRAUDSTERS

They closed my account without any reasoning. Kept my money. Ignored my legal data request.

Not once. Not twice. Complete and deliberate silence.

This is not incompetence. This is a company that knows exactly what it's doing. And is counting on you not fighting back.

I am now pursuing them through EU financial regulators and data protection authorities.

DO NOT trust Wise with your money - BE CAREFUL.

They will close your account, and ignore your legal rights, and go silent. If this is not the definition of Fraud, then what is?

I signed up and they closed my account…

I signed up and they closed my account without reason the next day. Super frustrating. They do not provide a reason. Still charged the $31 account setup fee as well.

Needlessly complex…

The process of transferring US dollars in an American account to euros in a European account used to be fairly straightforward. Now it seems to involve several steps and choices. Why not just allow a simple macro that would define the source bank, the transfer method, and the destination bank. Then, all I would have to fill in would be the amount.
