Horrible Customer Support

They have very predatory customer service where if you have an issue that they genuinely need to solve and refund you for they will continuously close the chat and ignore you for hours - making you go onto twitter/X to speak to someone who may possibly care and if they do you don't get a refund until 2am - Don't bother.

They should be charged similar to Vodaphone for preventing customers from getting actual compensation for issues

Why is it that Uber Customer Service cannot answer a simple question

Why is it that Uber Customer Service cannot confirm what Uber policy is regarding a car not turning up and the return of the deducted amount made for the booking? Two telephone calls, two customer service agents and still they cannot access the account, cannot say what the policy is and come out with prewritten gibberish. After more than 18 minutes on the call the answer came through - referral to some manager was needed. Really? What a waste of customer and company time. Over to you Uber!

Overpriced

I booked an uber to work today , had 2 stops, uber charged me for both but driver couldn't find it on app for my second trip, I showed the driver my app and tyr amount they have deducted, he called uber to rectify the change and uber confirm tye journey is still on going that is my second stop. They wasted my a whole 15mins whiles sorting why he the driver could not seen the trip on his app, he was asked to take me to my destination amd that they see it on their app and would pay him. I got down and realise my price have change to 73.55 pounds instead of 50 pounds , I have reached out to uber explaining to them them and why I should be charged extra whiles the delay it's from their side and not me but uber don't want to pay back my money when they have rather wasted mh time and overcharging for sorting their failure in their app.

Scammers with Generative AI customer support

I have booked a taxi for an airport pickup scheduled for 3:45
The guy came at 3:36 left at 3:41
I tried to contact uber customer support and I ended up with layers of AI generated messages and they refused to return my money
While almost missed my flight
Absolutely avoid it

Reserved an uber in Ireland from night…

Reserved an uber in Ireland from night before. The driver was 10 min late so I had to follow his arrival on my phone. The phone fell off my pocket accidentally in his car as I was coming out. I noticed this just 4 min after and tried to contact the driver thru the uber app help center. The people at help center are absolutely useless and robotic. They asked me to wait for the driver to contact me. I messaged them several times within 24 hours. They responded the same. I texted them again next day and finally they wrote the driver didn’t find my phone. Something is wrong with this company, no one to talk to. To top their unprofessionalism they rated the driver 5 on my ride . They never gave me the chance to review and rate him. They automatically did this on their own to cover the back. I find this company and its people nothing more than thieves.

Minus 1 star. Booked uber in Paris. Driver didn’t turn up and pretended he didn’t understand our text. Booked another straight away great driver but UBER chat bot refused to refund driver cancellation fee. Utter scam proved we were where we were directed to wait. Said 15 mins away took 35mins to not arrive and charge. Sad for the legitimate drivers Will not be using this service again and recommend you don’t either. It’s the only way they might fix this problem and maybe compensate the customer for wasting their time

Today I had a really bad experience…

Today I had a really bad experience with an Uber taxi. The driver was riding round and round on roads that the council had permanently closed to show that he was trying to find a shortcut, but on the other hand, he raised his fare. It's so unacceptable and rude. He thought nobody knew. I'm not gonna use Uber taxi anymore.

We are a restaurant on Uber Eats and have been for ove 4 years. Top Class Lunchbox in Stockton on Tees. If as a restaurant you are thinking of joining Uber Eats i would advise you dont. For the past 4 weeks Uber Eats have stopped paying us. This is impacting our business. We use our income to pay rent buy stock etc. With Uber Eats stopping our payments our spare cashflow is been depleted. Nobody from Uber Eats replies to emails, messages, wattsapp, uber eats manager messaging app. When you do finally get to speak to someone or miraculously get a reply to emails etc they say it's in the hands of our specialised team, so you ask can i speak with them the answer is NO, ask for an email contact the answer is NO the reply is you will be contacted within 72 hours (this has been going on for 4 weeks) nobody contacts you. I bet your company dont treat the big boys the way you are treating me. I'm on the verge of a nervous breakdown because of Uber Eats

Be careful with your robot chat order system

I ordered a meal and the system picked an old order, I quickly stopped it tried to talk to someone but instead of got the robot Chat that cancel my order and instantly charge me£13 but took £16.19 from my bank.
The order barely made it to the restaurant and so I spoke to the manager straight away and confirm the order have been cancelled and they confirm that they only just received the order not to worry , they were absolutely disgusted what had happened with the fees, I've been trying to talk to people to explain the problem but I keep getting passed on to the email servers who instantly replies to tell me that the food was being cooked and they need to compensate the restaurant for the cancellation which is not true.
It's been 2 days now and I still can't talk to someone, they keep on copy and pasting the same email telling me the same thing unfortunately am getting no where.
I had to send a threatening email that I will take this problem as far as possibly can, legally.
I cannot get an email to make a former complaint either so if anyone out there knows one please can you post it for me please.

Complaint and Review: Unreliable Scheduled Ride Service (April 7th, 4:15 AM)

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience using Uber’s scheduled ride feature.

I booked a ride in advance for April 7th at 4:15 AM to ensure a reliable pickup. The evening before, I received a notification confirming that a driver had been assigned, which gave me confidence that everything was arranged. However, on the morning of the ride, I was notified that a different driver had been reassigned. Then, just 15 minutes before the scheduled pickup time, I found out that no driver was assigned at all.

This situation is completely unacceptable. The entire purpose of scheduling a ride in advance is to guarantee reliability, especially for early morning trips when alternatives may be limited. Instead, the experience was stressful and unreliable.

Based on this experience, I cannot consider the scheduled ride service dependable. I hope Uber addresses this issue, as it undermines trust in what should be a core feature of the platform.

If you planing to work with this stupid company- Never do that mistake! They are robbing all drivers… If customers paying £25 that means driver will take £7.60. Never do this mistake to start working this stupid company….
