He let us look around and talk then we asked for help and he answered the very many questions we had regarding sectionals! Measured over and over and stayed past his work hours to help us make our final decision! We even talked soccer! Very kind and courteous!

Do Not Trust Tepperman’s
I purchased a grey bed frame from Tepperman’s.
$1,583
After 7 months it is stained and discoloured.
According to management the yellow stains are “the natural aging process”
Yet, their floor model, older than mine has no yellow stains!
It is incredibly clear that the yellow stains are a manufacturing defect.
Who buys a grey bed and expects that after a short time it develops yellow stains?
That’s considered “natural”?
They do not care about their customers

Bought a leather couch which was on sale for $3400,after a couple of months the cushions didn't hold up,after sitting for approx 15minutes you could feel the wooden frame on your backside.We informed teppermans and a couple of weeks later a young man came to our house,checked out the situation and totally agreed that the piece needs replacing,the next day we went on holiday,when coming home I called them and a young lady told me they had a meeting and the young man told them there was no.problem with the couch,the exact opposite to what he told us.I was then told the matter was finished and there was nothing I could do.There is more to this but I am disgusted with this,I have spent a lot of money at teppermans and I am encouraging everybody not to spend a penny in this place,the flippantway they brushed me off was shameful.Do NOT waste your money at this store,they don't care about the customer,they just take your money and run. Not a good company Temperman’s I’ll…
Not a good company Temperman’s I’ll never buy from them again! Do not purchase the extended warranty on your furniture, during the purchasing of our living room suite. Last March, within the first year the mechanics failed on a couch we barely used. When selling this extended warranty the talk was all about how great it was and how if they can’t repair it they will replace it. Hours of being on hold, terrible customer service. I called on Monday, I realized it on Saturday which was within the first year but because I didn’t call n Saturday (they were closed) and called Monday one day after my year warranty they said I had to go through the extended warranty company. On March 6 the rep came from the extended warranty and I’m told 5-6 months till I get my part. I am without the use of my sofa couch for 5-6 months and they feel this is ok. Buy your furniture from a company that customer service and quality counts. It obviously does not at Temperman’s in St Catherine’s, Ontario and yes the part is on order from Japan due around June 27th that will be almost 4 months, if it come on time and then the repair still needs to happen, so Temperman’s feels that 6 months of not being able to use your furniture is ok??? I don’t think. I wish I had read them before I purchased. Update** I received a call from Tempermans on April 15th stating I am eligible for a full credit for my living room set. I went to Tempermans to pick out something new. They did honor the full return and the process was easy. I did purchase the extended warranty again and upgraded to a better quality piece so I hope this ones lasts more than a year. I do give credit that they did eventually make it right, took many calls and a google review. But I’m happy they stood behind their customers.

Update: they let me get a reselect. I bought an adjustable bed frame from here 2 years ago and since have had nothing but problems. They have sent people out several times to fix the same issue over and over and they still are refusing to do anything else about it. Keep in mind these repairs only last 2 weeks before it is broken again. Teppermans seems to have a habit of putting a bandage on problems until their one year warranty is up and then throwing you away being disloyal. I do not recommend buying from here or any teppermans as they will screw you out of money and lots of their stuff is poorly built. Their solution for me is to spend MORE money buying a rug even though I already purchased the pads they told me would fix the issue and that I would be reimbursed for them and I never was. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!
Terrible company to deal with
Terrible company to deal with. once you place your order and they take you payment in full, they will never call you confirm your order. They tell you your order is available when you place it and 5 months later have no record of it or where it is. Schedule deliveries and never show up or call. Impossible to deal with
Sectional - warranty
Purchased a couch just over a year ago. The material is tearing, threads splitting. We kept getting pushed aside when we tried to speak with several people. Called our extended warranty and they will not cover as well. 3 months in to owning the mechanical part for the recliner went. Waiting over 6 months for them to fix it. It’s so frustrating

Poor customer service
Poor customer service. The recliner started fading after just three months. I was told it would take six months to get a replacement part, and then they refused to help because the account is in my wife’s name. Very unhelpful experience—shop elsewhere.
My sectional coach
So I Baugh a sectional coach in September 2024 with extended warranty and within a month the sticking started to come out so I reached out to them and they agreed to scheduled a date to replace the section that’s damaged I waited months and finally they contacted me with a date but when they came they brought the wrong part of the section then they rescheduled after months of waiting again but this time they didn’t show up so I called and they told me that the tm that was supposed to visit me called in sick
So again after months of wait they rescheduled but this time they came with the wrong colour they few weeks later they reached out to me letting me know that my only choice is for them to credit me back the cast of the coach and then I will choose a new one and pay the balance from my pocket
So i went to see what they have and the cheapest coach to the one that i have i would have to pay 1300$ from my pocket which I do not have so am lost to what i can do in this case

It’s now end of August and as you can see the previous review July 11 when no one showed up to fix my couch and I was told they had the part and they would get in touch asap. Still haven’t heard back. Called today. Still Being told by rude girl on the phone that they have my part and will get in touch once again. Same lie over and over. And they r not following through on their end of my warranty. This sofa was 5000 and yet needed three visits to fix what’s falling apart. And last visit didn’t even show up. I won’t ever buy from them again and I share my experience with everyone who r shopping for furniture. Shop elsewhere
We are now. Ready to take legal action now.

Poor customer experience and damaged product.
On July 5th, I received delivery of a dresser, mirror, and nightstand for my daughter the dresser had two large deep scratches/gouges (~ 2 and 6 inches wide); that were filled in and buffed out, additionally a dent on the side. Delivery driver said he’d notify Customer Service about the damage. Also said a they said its a simple process to get the product replaced, and then he took pics.
Drivers didn’t complete the claim, so I did it (had to send pics in) and followed up a few times for outcome. Typically takes 3-5 business days for claim evaluation.
I'd have to wait for the product to be picked up/delivered. So looking at ~ 3-4 weeks from now, despite waiting for 2+ weeks for the instock item to be available, I'm not holding my breath at this.
****update July 10th****
CS approved my claim and I was promised callback on 16th with timing for delivery timing. Should be by week end. Multiple follow-ups and long wait times to get update. Kudos for CS calling me back after i missed their initial call.
****update July 16th****
Received call unable to answer but message said dresser in warehouse and to callback for delivery schedule. When Teppermans was called, they said mistake and we have to wait until next week for item to be moved to our location even though it was promised for delivery this week.
After multiple calls and waiting for supervisors (phones magically disconnected by CS and Store). I went into the store and was able to get promise for refund pending them picking up the items that were delivered. Now wait until they can schedule.
Save yourself the time/hassle and go to another store. There are tons of customers who experienced the same damaged delivery items and they ended up getting a few hundred off….seems like this is their business model.

Bad service
Bought a recliner 4 months ago. After 3 months noticed it's faded already. Contacted them and was told it will take 6 months to get part to replace it. When I complained about it they would not help me because the account is not in my name. It's in my wife's name. With service like that stay away and shop somewhere else

Teppermans Ancaster - The sales rep Mina was amazing. She showed us a bunch of different dining room tables in our price range. Also took an account that we had limited of space so she showed us a very nice piece. It was a dinning room table with a bench and two chairs, which I have to say looks amazing.
The delivery was on time and the delivery men were very nice. They put the table together very quickly and placed it where I wanted it.
It nice to see a company that has a lot of good Canadian made furniture.

Tepperman’s sells a lot of crappy furniture that is NOT as advertised, their warranty is meaningless, and once they have your money it is “so long, you are on your own!!”
I purchased a Rimbey sofa and chair from them in November 2024 after testing out their display model several times. The total cost for the set was over $ 2,000. They delivered it in December and their guys were very rushed and unprofessional, even damaging my hardwood floors.
The backrests of both pieces are angled further back than their display models making them very uncomfortable (and painful) to sit on for any length of time!! I brought this to their attention shortly thereafter, in January of 2025, and one of their technicians came to my home and said there was nothing he could do to fix it and took pictures. The next day, one of their managers, Chris, called me back and said there was nothing he could do for me!! He also falsely claimed that the backrest of the display models in their store is angled further back than the products I purchased!!
On Tepperman’s website it states that their mission is:
“When we do it right they will come back!”
Well they have NOT done it right in this case!! Unfortunately, this latest purchase of the sofa and chair has NOT been a good experience for me!! There is clearly a manufacturer's defect in these products for them to be so different from the display models. THIS IS NOT WHAT I AGREED TO PURCHASE AND THE ONLY JUST SETTLEMENT IS FOR ME TO RECEIVE A FULL REFUND!!
Tepperman's Home Furnishings has a deplorably bad rating on Trustpilot Canada's website with a 1.9 out of 5 star rating based on 1,156 reviews!! You would think a company in business for 100 years would have good customer service figured out by now - they obviously do NOT, or simply do NOT care!!

Disappointing Quality and Zero Accountability
What started as a promising furniture purchase turned into months of frustration. Within a few months, our sofa started to show signs of wear — seams splitting, cushions sagging, and fabric creasing badly. We paid extra for a warranty, but when we reported the issue, we were met with slow responses and empty promises. It’s been nearly two months and we’re still waiting on a simple replacement cover.
Customer service has been anything but helpful — they dodge responsibility and offer small compensations instead of real solutions. For the amount we spent, we expected far better quality and support. I won’t be shopping here again, and I’d caution others to think twice before doing so.

Grey/Brown couch flyer
There was a couch in the flyer and I couldn't find Tori but Martha approached me she was very friendly and busy but not too busy to help me. She was very kind and professional. Then I saw Tori and she helped me find the couch in the flyer.
Unfortunately the colour didn't match the colour in the flyer. I was looking for a compact grey couch and this one was Brown.
I was able to take advantage of the sale on pillows for my mother's 80th upcoming birthday this month.
Tori helped me as always and she is very kind and sweet. I must say I gave the pillows early to my mom and she adores them they look wonderful in her place!
I also took a look at some fridges the ice maker does not work in ours.
And, there I met Matthew he was right there to help and I explained what I was looking for he was also very kind I was on crutches and he walked slow and made a few jokes and made me feel comfortable. I had a very favorable experience!
