Excellent migration support & service!

I was having a lot of issues with my previous host, dotcanada.com, and started looking to move.

After a few weeks of research, I narrowed it down to three contenders. I specifically wanted an actual Canadian hosting company that would give me as much control as possible over my hosting environment.

I decided to make the switch to StormWeb, and they exceeded my expectations from day one.

I run a small but busy site with multiple subdomains hosting a mix of applications including Drupal, WordPress, phpBB, and more. Their team handled the migration of everything -- websites, applications, databases, email, and related services -- and had me fully up and running within a day. They were even able to recover and fix an issue my previous host had told me was unrecoverable.

Overall, it was an impressive experience from start to finish, with excellent communication and genuinely helpful support throughout the process.

An absolute gem of a hosting company. Migration was quick and seamless. Support went above and beyond to resolve issues inherited from our previous host. Can't recommend enough.

I fled to Stormweb after the April 2026 cPanel hack locked me out of my VPS, tech did not respond for three days, and didn't have a backup. I had been with that company since 2007 but it was the last straw.

So glad I migrated! The quality of service from Stormweb is completely unprecedented in my 30 years of building websites. Worked with the same local tech from first phone inquiry through >20 ticket responses, Mike handled the migration, cleaned up all the hacker fingerprints and we are live again on their servers. He has even offered to update all my forums to current php so they will be secure. Taking 'fully managed vps' to a whole new level... and I am paying less for a larger vps. Amazing.

They hosted my website for over 15 years. I could ask them questions and actually talk to folks. Not just a chat bot. And they were always responsive and answered my questions. I'm retired now, and I'm letting my site go. But I recommend Storm Web highly.

I signed up for some small services from Stormweb and hoped that it might meet our little needs. It wasn't a biog solution, but it was what we needed at the time.

Since them, I've had a few issues that arose, which I needed some tech support. In most cases, it's because I didn't understand something, or because I couldn't figure something out on my own.

In each case, their support was fast, patient, helpful, and correct. All the issues I raised were resolved immediately.

I started switching all of my hosting and domains over to Stormweb.ca from GoDaddy after the tariff nonsense with the USA and fascist tendencies emerged causing concerns about data location. The support is amazing, almost unbelievable, and much better priced, for easy-to-use and just as abundant feature set as the previous host.
