Wouldn’t work in the Berwick upon Tweed store unless you enjoy being bullied. Working in a dull atmosphere with no happy smiling faces. Constantly going out the back smoking.

I had been a member of Rest Less Events for several years, joined after Mirthy closed down. Rest Less was a godsend for people who were retired, or lived alone, or lived with disabilities which meant they were housebound most of the time. They had presenters who gave talks on a massive variety of topics, I learnt to paint, to draw, to cook sri lankan dishes, learnt basic german, italian, spanish, french and even some chinese! Their speakers were excellent and the variety of topics was truly amazing, from many railway related talks, the history chap gave fantastic talks, astronomy, tours around different cities led by wonderful guides with cameras recording everything and it was so interesting if you would never be able to go to these places, so many countries we visited! Not to mention the tai chi, pilates and yoga classes each week which made sure that those of us sitting at home would be up and about and more mobile. But sadly without any notice that section of Rest Less, for which an annual subscription of only £70 pa was required (we would have willingly paid more!) suddenly closed down completely on Monday 11th May 2026, leaving many elderly people with no interests, no hobbies, no wonderful speakers and exciting talks. Nothing at all, except being on your own with no company any more (and I don't even have a television). Rest Less made a difference in our daily lives, gave us something, well somethings, to look forward to and map our weeks out.
It was excellent while it lasted for the few years they ran it and there isn't anything now to replace it.

Joined this site for the dating.
Can not recommend. When you construct a search , the photos on the search page are so tiny, you can't see the person properly so you have to spend all your time clicking on & off profiles.
The search criteria didn't always chose people within that criteria.
Also, when I 1st joined, I hadn't subscribed, as wanted to see if it was worth doing so. I mentioned on my profile page that I wasn't yet subscribed & would likely do so soon. I received a harsh msg from customer service saying that if VIOLATED THE RULES because i'd written this small amount of text!
This is absolutely pathetic!
Rest Less is no different to any other dating site, they just want your money!

The company does a lot of adds which is fine. Their reviews are very South England orientated. The articles are quite interesting.

This website banned me before I have even managed to set up a profile. When I tried to contact them their message page does not work. A complete waste of time!
