Don’t Do it!

This was, without question, the worst experience I have ever had with a cleaning company. If I could give zero stars, I would.

I paid for a deep cleaning service that was supposed to include the oven, cabinets, drawers, refrigerator, windows, windowsills, baseboards, sweeping, mopping, and other detailed cleaning tasks. Much of that work was either incomplete or not done at all. The oven was not cleaned, the exterior of the refrigerator and freezer were never cleaned, several drawers were left untouched, two kitchen cabinets were not cleaned, the windows and windowsills throughout the home were ignored, the fireplace and mantle were never addressed, and the bathroom baseboards were not cleaned.

Communication was extremely difficult. The cleaners seemed unclear about what services had been booked and repeatedly had to backtrack after I pointed out missed areas. Despite multiple calls to the company during the appointment, no one answered.

I was also shocked by the lack of professionalism. The cleaners used worn, dirty-looking sponges in my bathrooms, did not wear shoe covers while walking on freshly cleaned floors, and expected me to provide paper towels, trash bags, and even a ladder—none of which was disclosed beforehand. I specifically informed the company that I have real hardwood floors and was assured the cleaners had the proper products to care for them. Instead, I watched them use the same cleaning solution on my hardwood floors that they used on the kitchen tile floors, which is not proper floor care.

The most upsetting part of this experience was that the cleaners threw away a plant I had been growing in a Mason jar for four years. I started that plant shortly after my mother passed away, and it holds tremendous sentimental value. When I noticed it was missing, I searched the house and ultimately found it thrown away in the trash inside one of my grocery bags that had been taken from a cabinet because the cleaners did not bring trash bags. They also used and discarded my Clorox wipes, threw away some of my cleaning supplies, and discarded other personal belongings without permission. Cleaners are hired to clean, not decide what items in a customer's home should be thrown away.

To make matters worse, my credit card was charged before the appointment despite being told it would not be charged until the service was completed. The cleaners ultimately packed up and left without completing the service I paid for.

Overpriced, poorly managed, and far below professional standards. I genuinely do not understand how this company maintains such high ratings, and I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Update: re-cleaned my cabinets. They are awful! FULL OF DIRT and GRIM. The deep cleaning is a scam. A week has now passed, and no one from the company has called to resolve the issue or give me my full refund. The one phone call from a “manager” has resulted in nothing.

10/10 and great communication

I received a deep cleaning from Geovani who did a wonderful and detailed job with the tools he had. Jenifer made sure to communicate with me what was going on throughout the cleaning which was greatly appreciated. I’m looking forward to receiving another cleaning for them!

The Angels in Real Life!

I recently decided on a commercial cleaning company for my facility and it's the best decision I've ever made, and My Cleaning Angel is a true gem. The name is brilliant too, they really are angels. :)

Bruno is the manager that's been handling my account, he's wonderful, communicates frequently, and quickly. I was out of the office during the hiring process, had to reach out as I was afraid I missed something, and my panic, was no more, he comforted me and let me know it was okay, and to relaz.

My angel is Manu, I was told she was the best, and had the best reviews, and Bruno told not one lie. She's been amazing, communicates with me frequently, and checks in with me to make sure I'm happy, and if there is a change in time, she wants to make sure I'm okay with it. She's so easy to work with, and does such a great job.

I would recommend My Cleaning Angel to anyone who will listen.

💫 Exceptional Cleaning and Customer Service

I had a wonderful experience with My Cleaning Angel in New Orleans. Out of all the cleaning services I’ve tried, this was by far the best.

I scheduled a deep cleaning and the cleaner was absolutely amazing—very sweet, friendly, and extremely professional. She paid attention to every detail and was so helpful throughout the entire service.

My home has never looked this clean before! Because of this experience, I’ve decided to start recurring services. I’d love to keep my home looking this way all the time.

I also want to mention the office manager, who truly went above and beyond my expectations. The customer service was outstanding and made the entire experience even better.

Amazing experience for Move In Cleaning

I recently hired My Cleaning Angel for a move-in cleaning at my apartment in Tampa, and the experience was absolutely perfect. From the moment I scheduled the service, the process was smooth and professional. The team arrived on time, was very friendly, and paid incredible attention to detail.

DO NOT use this cleaning company

DO NOT use this cleaning company. The cleaning lady not only left our apartment filthy, she damaged our toilet which is going to cost us $600 to replace and install. Terrible service and we're taking them to small claims court over this, as the statute of limitations in Florida for damage caused to an apartment during a cleaning is two years.

We take allegations like this very seriously, which is exactly why we have a clearly published Terms, Conditions, and Service Agreement that every customer agrees to at the time of booking.

In this case, the cleaning service was completed more than two months before any claim was made. Our policy requires that any concern or alleged damage be reported within 24 hours of service so we can promptly inspect the issue and, if necessary, correct it. No complaint was submitted within that timeframe.

Instead, the toilet was replaced without notifying us, without allowing us the opportunity to inspect it, and without giving us the contractual right to address the concern. Only after the replacement was completed did we receive a photo. The image provided did not show damage consistent with negligent cleaning. The marks visible appeared superficial and consistent with wear on an older fixture, and could likely have been addressed with standard cleaning methods. A full toilet replacement was not necessary based on what was shown.

It is also important to clarify that prior to posting public reviews and stating online that legal action was being taken, no good-faith resolution attempt was made within the guidelines of our agreement. We are always willing to review legitimate concerns when they are reported properly and in a timely manner.

To our current and future customers: we stand behind our work. If we ever cause verified damage, we address it appropriately and professionally. We carry insurance for that reason. In over 20 years of business, situations have occurred—as they can in any service industry—and we have never avoided responsibility when clear evidence supports a claim. That is part of operating with integrity.

However, we must also stand by our documented policies and the facts of each case. Claims raised months later, after independent replacement of items without inspection, fall outside of our agreed terms.

We remain committed to transparency, professionalism, and doing right by our customers.

Go With Another Company!

I hired My Cleaning Angel for a move-out cleaning in June 2024. On the Thursday before my Saturday cleaning I texted the date and time to confirm. I was provided with a confirmation replay and was told "not to worry" I was confirmed. Thankfully, I left items in the garage and returned to retrieve them only to find no had arrived between the 0800-1000 arrival time. I called only to find out that my cleaning was actually scheduled on the following Monday, a day after my lease officially expired. Of course I was livid and scared, because I was leaving the state on the Saturday my cleaning was asked in writing to be scheduled on. Nonetheless, once I explained that legally they could not come on Monday, like they asked to do, they eventually found someone to come out and of course it was not without additional mishaps. But by this time we had decided to leave the GA, because of our long drive. To make a long story short, for my compensation I was given a $20 credit, which they stated was actually $50, because of the initial $30 off for being a 1st time customer I had already received. No amount of explaining that one had nothing to do with the other got me any where. So I decided to leave this review, warning others that I would not recommend this company under any circumstances!
