DO NOT USE!

DO NOT USE! We paid $267.75 to fix a bathtub drainage issue, but the drain is still not working properly and is actually worse than before. The plumber's notes stated the issue was resolved, but that is simply not the case.

We also came home to find black debris left throughout the bathroom.

When we contacted the company, our concerns were dismissed and we were told we would have to pay for another visit if we wanted the issue checked again. We requested that a different plumber review the work, but this was refused unless we paid additional charges.

Very disappointing service and poor customer support. We will not be using this company again.

Unscrupulous & unskilled - don’t hire

TLDR: not skilled; not honest. This company employs dishonest, unscrupulous technicians, and fully stands behind them even after the lies come to light.

Plumbing technician Lovepreet came out to assess and repair issues with 2 showers. He spent time supposedly repairing the first shower, and after that informed me that the shower could not be used because it had been leaking into the wall, such that the shower surround and flooring needed to be replaced. I was not happy that he had proceeded to repair something that was unusable, but that isn't even my main issue.
The second shower was not getting any cold water, only hot. He diagnosed a problem with the valve. He was very clear that those valves cannot be repaired and that I needed to buy a new valve and trim kit. I pushed him on it, because that bathroom was slated for a reno and is rarely used. I wanted the valve repaired if at all possible. He insisted that it was not possible. I asked if the old trim could be recycled; he said no, I needed to throw it away. So i did. that was a mistake!
I felt like we had a reasonable rapport, so even though I noticed he was holding the clipboard & invoice strangely such that most of the info was covered and I couldn't see it, I trusted him and signed on the line. That was a bigger mistake!
1) He overbilled me, lying about what time he arrived.
2) He had, for no reason and unbeknowest to me, turned off the water to a third shower and left it off. When we went to use that shower later in the day, it suddenly didn't work.
3) when a different technician came to install the new valve, his first question was, "Don't you want me to just repair this valve?"
My jaw hit the floor. I had been specifically that there was no way to repair that kind of valve. I had been told to throw away the old trim. At this point, the only option was moving forward with the new valve and trim.
(I have no complaints about the 2nd technician.)

Customer service (Hanna) agreed that he had made "a mistake" on the billing. However, they claimed that I chose the option to replace, eventhough that was the only option I was presented with. They said that since I threw out the old trim, that was my responsibility, despite the fact that I threw it out based on the instructions of their technician.
They did adjust the hours billed to reflect the actual time on site, and then acted as though they were doing me a favour by doing so. I also got a small credit because he left me with no working shower.

Had the first technician been appropriately knowledgeable and honest, he would have just repaired the valve and made sure all the water was back on. I would have not incurred the hundreds of dollars of costs for a new valve and trim kit, nor the hundreds of dollars for the 2nd visit.

Milani did work at my house

Milani did work at my house. Job was done okay but took longer than expected. They come late one day and had to come back again to finish. Work is working fine now but process was not smooth.Price is a little high for the time.
Overall okay, just some issues.

Very disappointing experience with…

Very disappointing experience with Milani Plumbing — ongoing issue since May 2025 with no resolution.

We’ve been dealing with Milani Plumbing since May 2025 regarding a faulty eco flusher they installed, and despite repeated emails and calls, the matter remains unresolved. The flusher broke within months. Their team initially said it was under warranty, then later claimed it was discontinued and that the entire tank would need to be replaced. After months of waiting — including an incorrect tank order — a new high-pressure tank was finally installed, yet Milani still invoiced us and has refused to refund the cost of the defective flusher.

When questioned about the delay, Milani staff said they were waiting on reimbursement from their vendor before issuing our refund. I made it clear that this was not our responsibility — their vendor relationship should not delay or prevent a refund owed to a paying customer. Despite this, nothing has been resolved.

I’ve sent multiple follow-up emails (most recently in September 2025) with all invoices attached, but the manager or owner has continually refused to return my calls or respond, despite several attempts to speak directly with them.

This experience shows a complete lack of accountability and professionalism. I would strongly caution anyone considering Milani Plumbing to get all warranty and refund terms in writing — or better yet, choose a company that actually stands behind its work and respects its customers.
