The name may have changed but the level of service and value for money remain extremely high. The customer support team is easy to contact, friendly helpful and efficient. I have always found the reconditioned machines sold to be exactly as described on the web site.

I certainly will not be dealing with this company again. I made the mistake of not taking the other negative reviews seriously.
I bought a Dell Laptop and paid for express delivery. The laptop arrived but stopped working a few hours after I set it up. It turns out the SSD drive was corrupt. I contacted their support - who are horrendous to deal with but that's another story - and the only solution they could offer was for me to return the laptop for repair or they send me the SSD drive to install myself. When I asked why can't they just send me a laptop that works which is what I paid for and I return the broken one they sold me, they were unwilling to take that risk.
So, I had to take the option of installing the SSD card myself which I had never done before. They even refused to send it by express delivery because it's just something they don't do, apparently.
No reason at all - just not something they do.
I got very poor support so I had to contact a friend to help me install and set up the SSD. To do this, I had to purchase a USB stick which they refused to reimburse me for. Why? It's just something that they don't do......
The laptop is awful. It overheats and the battery gives false readings and can only last 2 hours.
Under the 1 year warranty, I should send it back to them to get that repaired but knowing what I know about this company now, I am not sure I would ever see the laptop again.
I would just prefer to cut my losses and see this is a learning experience rather than have any more interaction with them.
The customer service people write to you with utter contempt. My guess is that they get emails all the time about various issues and have gone past the point of caring.
My advice to anyone considering a purchase from Trade Discount is - Don't waste your time and money.

Je ne ferai certainement plus affaire avec cette entreprise. J'ai fait l'erreur de ne pas prendre au sérieux les autres critiques négatives. J'ai acheté un ordinateur portable Dell et j'ai payé pour la livraison express. L'ordinateur portable est arrivé mais a cessé de fonctionner quelques heures après l'avoir configuré. Il s'avère que le lecteur SSD était corrompu. J'ai contacté leur support - qui est horrible à gérer mais c'est une autre histoire - et la seule solution qu'ils pouvaient proposer était que je retourne l'ordinateur portable pour réparation ou qu'ils m'envoient le disque SSD pour m'installer. Quand j'ai demandé pourquoi ils ne pouvaient pas simplement m'envoyer un ordinateur portable qui fonctionnait, ce que j'avais payé et que je rendais celui cassé qu'ils m'avaient vendu, ils n'étaient pas disposés à prendre ce risque. J'ai donc dû prendre l'option d'installer moi-même la carte SSD, ce que je n'avais jamais fait auparavant. Ils ont même refusé de l'envoyer par livraison express parce que c'est juste quelque chose qu'ils ne font pas, apparemment. Aucune raison du tout - juste pas quelque chose qu'ils font. Je n'ai un très mauvais assistance, j'ai donc dû contacter un ami pour m'aider à installer et à configurer le SSD. Pour ce faire, j'ai dû acheter une clé USB qu'ils ont refusé de me rembourser. Pourquoi? C'est juste quelque chose qu'ils ne font pas...... Le portable est horrible. Il surchauffe et la batterie donne de fausses lectures et ne peut durer que 2 heures. Sous la garantie d'un an, je devrais le leur renvoyer pour le faire réparer, mais sachant ce que je sais de cette entreprise maintenant, je ne suis pas sûr de revoir l'ordinateur portable un jour. Je préférerais simplement réduire mes pertes et voir que c'est une expérience d'apprentissage plutôt que d'avoir plus d'interaction avec eux. Les gens du service client vous écrivent avec un mépris total. Je suppose qu'ils reçoivent tout le temps des e-mails sur divers problèmes et qu'ils ont dépassé le point de s'en soucier. Mon conseil à tous ceux qui envisagent d'acheter chez Trade Discount est - Ne perdez pas votre temps et votre argent.

Very pleased with my purchase, the Dell computer and Lenovo 22" screen complement each other very well. Although there are a few marks and scratches the set up works like new. I was dissapointed there was no CD opical drive, but that was not on the spec...my fault. The service I recieved was first class and the staff so very pleasent and helpful. I would certainly buy from these guys again
