After waiting at least 20 minutes to speak to someone to renew my car insurance, who I couldn't understand the person who was dealing with me as he had a foreign accent, I asked to speak to someone else and he put me on hold. Then after 15 minutes on the phone I was cut off. I rang back and spoke to another foreign speaking lady, but I could understand her a little better. She gave me a quote of £364 but I queried it, as it was more than some of the quoted prices I had received from confused.com. She went away and then quoted £332. I did accept this in the end as I'm elderly and cannot be doing with looking round for better quotes, plus I wanted to stay with Churchill. Just thought it is strange that if I hadn't queried the original quote I would have been £30 more.

Very poor response from customer support, I had somthing stolen from my car while traveling on a ferry, the rear windows were down about a inch for the dogs air supply, the car was locked. No response after nearly 4 weeks so phone help line, Karen from support said as the window was down, I was not covered. when I asked where that was covered in my policy documents she hung up on me. thanks Karen. so much hasel for a small claim "Ombudsman"
