AE Therapy is the private practice of Angelica Esposito, a Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist based in Burlington, Ontario. As a solo practitioner, I provide personalized, one-on-one mental health support to individuals across Ontario—both online and in person. My practice focuses on helping people navigate trauma, anxiety, life transitions, cultural adjustment, and chronic health conditions. I specialize in working with newcomers, second-generation immigrants, and individuals going through emotionally challenging times. Drawing on evidence-based approaches like EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), Narrative Therapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS), I tailor each session to meet the unique needs and goals of my clients. Having lived in Italy, the UK, and Australia before settling in Canada over a decade ago, I understand the emotional complexity of change, displacement, and starting over. I offer therapy in both English and Italian, and I aim to create a safe, inclusive, and non-judgmental space where clients feel seen and supported. Sessions are available virtually, in-person by request, or as walk-and-talks by Lake Ontario.
