Our mission

Our mission is to make trusted, up to date knowledge easier to use in AI applications. We help developers spend less time maintaining data pipelines and more time building useful products.

What is Bulkgrid?

Bulkgrid is a knowledge infrastructure platform for AI applications. It turns selected websites, documents, and GitHub repositories into searchable content that applications and agents can retrieve with references to the original sources.

Teams use Bulkgrid to choose their sources, organize content into collections, and connect that knowledge to their AI through MCP, APIs, SDKs, or the CLI. Bulkgrid handles ingestion and scheduled refreshes as those sources change.

The name Bulkgrid refers to this platform and its tools for indexing, maintaining, and retrieving knowledge. Its purpose goes beyond collecting web data: it gives teams an ongoing way to make their chosen sources available to AI.

How Bulkgrid started

We kept encountering the same problem while working with AI and web data. Useful information was available, but keeping it accessible and up to date required constant maintenance.

Scrapers broke. Websites changed structure. Content became outdated. Maintaining the underlying pipelines took time away from the products we wanted to build.

We started developing an internal system to collect, organize, and refresh that information. As we recognized the same challenge in other teams building AI applications, that system became Bulkgrid.

What guides our work

Control over knowledge. Teams should decide which sources their applications can access, including public websites and private repositories.

References people can verify. Retrieval should return supporting passages with links to their sources, helping developers and users inspect the evidence behind an answer.

Knowledge that stays up to date. Refreshing indexed content should be part of the infrastructure, with a clear history of changes.

These principles support better grounding. They do not eliminate model errors, but they make the information supplied to an AI system more deliberate and traceable.

Who we build for

We build for developers creating documentation assistants, coding agents, customer support tools, internal knowledge search, and other AI applications that depend on specific sources.
