Dicks extend warranty is a waste of money.

My wife purchased a callaway cargo golf bag as a christmas present. I finally got to use the bag. She also purchased the extended warranty. I had some quality issues with the bag and took it back to the store. The young lady the help was very professional and let me know that I need to contact the 3rd party warranty company. The claim needs to be filed on line. I filled out the questionnaire. I got an instant response that they wouldn't help me. I had to call Callaway and they took care of me. It doesn't look good on a company when the managers dont have the authority to take care of customers and have to rely on a 3rd party companies. I can understand this for exercise equipment but for a golf bag? Sad to see.

Extremely disappointing experience..

I recently had knee surgery and was unable to leave my house or drive for an extended period of time. I am a volleyball coach and regularly tell all of my players to shop here. My husband is also a basketball coach and recommends this store to his players as well, so our family has spent a significant amount of money with this company over the years.

I had purchased knee pads in both a medium and a small. My daughter tried on the medium, which fit, and never even tried on the small. I was still within the 90-day return period and simply wanted to exchange the unused, brand-new small pair for a different size. Because of my surgery, I could not drive until my doctor medically cleared me. The closest store is an hour away, so once I was finally able to drive, I made the long trip and spent a considerable amount of money on gas just to make this return.

Not only did they refuse to exchange an unused item that was still within the 90-day period, but the manager was extremely condescending and rude about it. I was not asking for a refund or trying to return something used. I simply wanted to exchange an unused pair of knee pads for the correct size.

After years of recommending this store to my athletes and spending money there myself, this experience has seriously changed my opinion of the company. The policy may be the policy, but the way this situation was handled, especially by the manager, was completely unacceptable. Customer service and common sense should matter, particularly when a customer is making a reasonable request under unusual circumstances. Customer support also refused to help. No wonder they have a 1.9 rating they should be ashamed of themselves.

Bought a running machine on 21st May…

Bought a running machine on 21st May 2026, it wasn't delivered until the 10th June, it broke pretty much straight away and since then I've not been able to get Dicks/the company Sole to fix it.

THe customer service dept keeps saying they will contact me and they never do nobody wants to take ownership of the issue, at this point i just want them to refund me the money and take the machine back. I would really advise anyone against making a large purchase from here, I paid for delivery and set up and the guys building it were watching youtube videos to figure it out so I'm not surprised I've had so many issues.

This company's online service doesn't even deserve a 1 star. Absolute garbage. I spent over $1,000 worth of football items for my son. Just about every single item came in damaged. I am now having to return them all. This isn't the first time this has happened. I officially will not be using their online shopping ever again. I would stay clear of ordering online. Go in the store so you know you will not be receiving wrong and or damaged items. Whatever company y'all use for shipping is just as terrible. Do better!

Customer Service bought a pair of…

Customer Service bought a pair of sneakers from my husband for his birthday. They came in an ugly brown box. They look like they were used. They have creases in the front.
Ridiculous I don’t have time to return or exchange until after his birthday
They Told me I had to buy another pair first and then get refunded… all I want was a mailing label. Send it back and get my refund. Horrible Customer Service service.

Estimated delivery times are false

Estimated delivery times are false. Only reason I ordered from dicks was because I needed the item by a certain date and in the end it wasn't actually delivered until 5 days AFTER date advertised.

Despite being busy, Sean updated us, was incredibly courteous while he helped multiple customers, and took the time to answer all of our questions. Will definitely go back again and again with that kind of customer service.

“The swimsuit is super cute and fits well, but unfortunately, it arrived used—no tag, and the strap was sewn incorrectly. I still need to keep it for my trip, but I hope they address these quality issues moving forward.

I’ve been waiting for over a week for…

I’ve been waiting for over a week for the no sweat protection plan to send me a credit for my son‘s glove that broke. I have spoken to five supervisors, even had some promised me they will call me back the next day to Novelle. This hassle would make me never stop at Dicks again.

Henry saved our day!

We are 3 danes on a holiday in Denver Colorado. Visited the Dicks Store at Park Meadows shopping mall in Denver.
Had a problem getting an uber going back to our hotel in Denver Downtown area. Asked the nice employe. “Henry” in the store for help - and he orderd and payed for the uber.
He really saved our day!! So thanks to Henry from the 3 danes(mom Anne, son Jonathan and daugheter Kamille).
Nice people really do excist♥️

Dissatisfaction with Return Policy

I have been a faithful customer at Dicks over many years. I have purchased many items and recommended my Teams over the years to visit and purchase your merchandise. As of today, this ends! My disappoint comes from their return policy and inflexibility to returning an unused product. They are penalizing those who do not try to beat the system. I will now use other resources online and not purchase with them any longer.

After checking online regarding store availability and being advised product is in stock, made my way to 0Dick's Sporting Goods. Confident the product (sleeve of three golf balls) are in stock. No, must purchase a box of twelve, cannot purchase a single sleeve. Thought 0Dick's was a big player in the Sports Store World. No.....

The worker had some trouble getting in the...

The worker had some trouble getting the register open and she had to give me my change back, so I told her it was no big deal and that it was just ¢0.80. She was so sweet and caring. She went through a lot of trouble trying to get the cash register open and I loved her. Her name is Madison. 💕

I love dicks I bought there Quest camp…

I love dicks I bought there Quest camp pillow for my upcoming camping trip .Omg! is it the best not only is it not too soft or too firm but it was so comfortable I went back a bought another one. I do wish dicks had more camping supplies.They are so limited in that area they don't even sell tents or at least my location did not. I always have a good experiece with this compamy

I have always enjoyed shopping at…

My most recent purchase was not a good experience. I ordered a shirt online as a gift and received a completely different product in terms of model and color.

I contacted customer service to resolve the issue and was told that the correct item would be sent. The request was processed successfully, but after a few days I did not receive any updates. When I checked my order, I saw it had been canceled.

The reason given was that the item was out of stock. In other words, the product was listed for sale even though it was not available, and instead I received a completely different item as a replacement. This has been very disappointing.

This place is trash

This place is trash. Every time I ordered online it gets cancelled. No one helps I talked to 3 different people and get no help. Never had such a hard time ordering shoes. Don't waste your time with this company they definitely do not care about your business or time.

Worst experience ever

Worst experience ever! I had an image of my gift card and yet this unhelpful employee couldn’t type in a few numbers. Unbelievable. According to her she could lose her job over it. I even pointed out that me, a customer, can enter the number online and yet her, an employee, can’t. I am not using dicks again.
