Scam company. Paid 99 cents for one file which is then unknowingly switched to a subscription of 49.99 - they tried to charge my account twice and got my card frozen! DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE WHATSOEVER! Customer service is useless too and most certainly not genuine.
I paid R$4.99 on May 18, 2026, believing I was purchasing a one-time PDF service. I had absolutely no intention of subscribing to a monthly plan.
To my surprise, I was later charged R$119.00 on May 30 and another R$119.00 on July 15, totaling R$238.00 in recurring charges that I never intended to sign up for.
As soon as I discovered the subscription, I canceled it immediately and contacted customer support requesting a refund. Instead of refunding the charges, they offered me two years of free access, which I declined because I never wanted a subscription in the first place. They later refused my refund request, citing their refund policy.
After researching online, I found many other customers reporting the exact same experience: paying a small amount for what appeared to be a one-time service and later discovering expensive recurring subscription charges. This suggests that my case is far from isolated.
I am not disputing the original R$4.99 payment, as I knowingly paid for the service I used. I am only requesting a refund of the two recurring charges of R$119.00, which do not reflect the purchase I intended to make.
I still hope PDF Guru will resolve this matter amicably, as they have reportedly done for other customers with similar complaints. Until then, I cannot recommend this service.
